Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini berangkat dari sebuah persoalan pengembangan kurikulum di sekolah yang belum menemukan bentuknya secara jelas sesuai dengan visi dan misinya. Pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi sebagai tawaran yang bisa memenuhi kepentingan visi dan misi secara komprehensif hingga pada tataran praktis yaitu pembelajaran. SMAN 10 Malang merupakan lembaga pendidikan negeri yang mampu menerapkan manajemen pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi secara baik. Lembaga tersebut termasuk lembaga pendidikan unggulan dengan peserta didiknya yang sarat akan prestasi baik dari segi akademik dan non akademik.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap manajemen pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi di SMAN 10 Malang, dengan sub fokus mencakup: (1) konsep pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi, (2) manajemen perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum terintegrasi, dan (3) dampak penerapan manajemen pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi terhadap prestasi, moral dan kreativitas peserta didik.
Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan dengan cara penentuan kredibilitas data, transferabilitas data, dependabilitas data, dan konfirmabilitas data. Informan penelitian ini yaitu waka kurikulum, guru, staf administrasi, ketua dormitory, pembina dormitory, siswa, dan ketua komite.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) konsep pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi yang dilakukan di SMAN 10 Malang, terdiri dari konsepsi visi dan misi terintegrasi, integrasi kelembagaan, integrasi kurikulum dan pembelajaran sesuai modelnya baik within single disciplines, across several disciplines, dan inside the mind of the learner; (2) manajemen perencanaan kurikulum terintegrasi yang menggunakan model interaksi rasional dan rasional deduktif untuk membagi peran antara pimpinan dan guru pelaksana kurikulum terintegrasi, dan untuk mengatur komponen pendidikan pendukung pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi; (3) manajemen pelaksanaan kurikulum terintegrasi yang dilaksanakan dengan proses pembelajaran di kelas, dengan mengedepankan metode problem solving, metode proyek, pengajaran unit, inquiry, discovery, dan pendekatan tematik serta sumber dan media pembelajaran yang variatif; (4) manajemen evaluasi kurikulum terintegrasi yang dilaksanakan dengan fungsi pengawasan/pengendalian dan supervisi oleh pimpinan, sedangkan guru melakukan evaluasi berdasarkan tiga ranah penilaian siswa yaitu kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik, yang diwujudkan dalam instrumen berbentuk tes maupun non tes; (5) dampak penerapan manajemen pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi di SMAN 10 Malang terhadap prestasi sangat membanggakan dengan banyaknya prestasi yang diraih, sedangkan terhadap moral siswa memiliki kepribadian yang mandiri dan kompetitif, selanjutnya terhadap kreativitas siswa yang variatif dengan didorong dan difasilitasi untuk menggali potensinya semaksimal mungkin hingga banyak menghasilkan berbagai produk keterampilan.
ABSTRACT
This research departs from a problem of curriculum development in school that has not found a clear shape to the vision and mission. Development of integrated curriculum as a bid to fulfill comprehensively the interests of vision and mission until be practical level of learning. SMAN 10 Malang is the country's educational institution that is able to implement management of integrated curriculum development goodly. This institution include leading educational institutions with student participants were full of achievements of both academic and non-academic.
The purposes of research to reveal the management of integrated curriculum development in SMAN 10 Malang, with sub focus include: (1) the concept of integrated curriculum development, (2) management of planning, implementation, and evaluation of integrated curriculum, and (3) the impact of practices for management of integrated curriculum development to achievement, morale and creativity of learners.
The approach used in this research is case study design. Data collection was done by using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis include reduction of data, presentation of data, and conclusion. At the same time, for checking the findings validity are made by determining the credibility of data, the transferability of data, the dependability of data, and the confirmability of data. The Informants of research are Waka Curriculum, Teachers, Administrative Staff, head of dormitory, educator of dormitory, students and head of the school committee.
The results of this research indicate that are: (1) the concept of integrated curriculum development is conducted at SMAN 10 Malang, consists of the integrated conception of vision and mission, institutional integration, the integration of curriculum and learning by models that are suitable to within single disciplines, across several disciplines, and inside the mind of the learner; (2) management of planning integrated curriculum that is used the rational-interaction model, and deductive rational model to divide roles between the principal of school and the teachers, and to organize educational components that are supporting the integrated curriculum development; (3) management of implementation for integrated curriculum is carried out with the learning process in classroom, that prioritize the methods of problem solving, project methods, teaching units, inquiry, discovery, thematic approach, media of learning and sources of learning that are varied; (4) management of evaluation for integrated curriculum is conducted with control function and supervision by the principal, while the teachers assess students that is based on three domains, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor, then all of domains are manifested to form of test instruments and non-test; (5) the impact from implementation of the management of integrated curriculum development at SMAN 10
Malang is very proud with the many achievements are achieved, to the morale of students has an independent personality and competitive, to the creativity of students is varied that be encouraged and facilitated to explore their potential as much as possible to produce a lot of product skills.
