Abstract
INDONESIA:
Guru PAI memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap perkembangan jiwa keagamaan siswa, termasuk di dalamnya bagaimana guru PAI memberikan perhatian kepada siswa dalam mendidik, mengajar, dan mengevaluasi baik dalam menyampaikan materi di kelas maupun dalam menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari siswa di sekolah. Banyak cara yang digunakan oleh guru PAI untuk memotivasi siswa agar senantiasa menjalankan ajaran agama Islam. Berpijak dari itulah peneliti melakukan penelitian di SMA Negeri 1 Turen.
Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah; (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun motivasi beragama siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Turen. (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam mengatasi kendala dan solusinya dalam membangun motivasi beragama siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Turen.
Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui; Wawancara (interview), Pengamatan (observasi), dan Dokumentsi. Penentuan informan dengan mengunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Selanjutnya analisa data dilakukan dengan; (1) Analisa selama pengumpulan data yakni secara induktif dengan mengunakan analisa deskriptif, (2) Teknik keabsahan data dengan mengunakan triangulasi sumber data.
Hasil penelitian dan kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa, (1) upaya yang dilakuakn oleh guru PAI, yaitu; (a) dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, diantaranya; membuat siswa suka PAI, memberi nasehat, mengarahkan perilaku siswa, memberi teladan yang baik, dan memberi pengawasan. (b) dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan, diantaranya; badan dakwah Islam, baca tulis Al- Quran, seni baca tulis Al-Quran, mentoring, dan keputrian. (c) dalam kegiatan rutin sekolah, diantaranya; sholat jamaah dhuhur, sambutan pagi guru di gerbang, amal jariah jumat, upacara bendera, peringatan hari besar Islam. (2) kendala yang ada, diantaranya; kurangnya minat siswa terhadap PAI, tempat ibadah (masjid sekolah) yang tidak memuat semua siswa, pendidik ekstrakurikuler keagamaan bukan guru asli sekolah, bawaan siswa yang heterogen, dan lingkungan masyarakat. solusi untuk mengatasi kendala, diantaranya; mengupayakan PAI jadi pelajaran favorit siswa, melakukan pelebaran tempat ibadah (masjid sekolah), mengusahakan pendidik ekstrakurikuler keagamaan guru asli sekolah, menerapkan absensi dalam setiap kegiatan, membuat siswa betah di sekolahan.
ENGLISH:
Islamic education teachers have big influence in developing students’ religion, include how to take attention in teaching and evaluating student in both, giving materials in the class and daily activity of students in the school. There are so many ways used by Islamic education teachers in motivating students by practicing Islamic ways of life. According to these statements researchers want to research this study in state senior high school of Turen.
The purposes of this research are; (1) To describe an effort of Islamic education teachers to increase religious motivation students of state senior high school of Turen. (2) To describe an effort of Islamic education teachers to solve the problems and get the solution of increasing religious motivation students of state senior high school of Turen.
This research will use descriptive qualitative method. The study collected the data trough interviewing, observation and documentation. Determining informants used purposive sampling. Then analyze the data by; (1) Analyze in the process of data collection using descriptive analysis. (2) The validity of the data used triangulation of data sources.
The result of this research shows; (1) an effort of Islamic education teachers in; (a) activity in the class, such as; make the students love Islamic education, giving advises, guiding students behavior, becoming a paragon, and take a control. (b) Islamic extracurricular activity, such as: Islamic religious proselytizing organization, recite and writing holy Koran, art of recite and writing holy Koran, guiding and women’s affairs. (c) School daily activities like; Jemaah Dhuhur prayer, teachers’ morning greetings in the gate, charity of Jum’ah, ceremonial activity, Islamic holy day activities. (2) Problems appear, such as; lacks of students’ interest in studying Islamic education, teachers of Islamic extracurricular education are not school teachers, students come from different cultural background and environment. The problem solving are: attempt to make Islamic education as a favorite lesson, reconstruct the school mosque wider than before, attempt to get competent teachers extracurricular, make a present book in every school activities, make students feel comfortable in school.
