Abstract
INDONESIA:
Studi tentang peninggalan benda Arkeologi tidak lepas dari informasi yang ingin diperoleh mengenai perilaku sosial, budaya para leluhur dan peradaban sejarah. Situs Biting merupakan peninggalan sejarah kerajaan Majapahit yang ada di Kecamatan Sukodono Kabupaten Lumajang, berupa gundukan batu, dan reruntuhan benteng. Diperlukan metode geolistrik untuk menduga struktur bawah permukaan, keberadaan, dan posisi situs arkeologi Biting. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat Resisitivitymeter, dengan konfigurasi Wenner-mapping (panjang lintasan 26 meter spasi elektrode 2 m). Pengolahan data dan pemodelan dilakukan menggunakan software Res2dinV dan Corel Draw. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daerah yang memiliki nilai resisitivitas antara 35,4Ωm–92,6 Ωm (batu bata penyusun situs) terletak pada posisi pondasi menara intai seperti yang terlihat pada model panel vertikal. Dugaan adanya situs yang masih terpendam terlihat berada pada selatan situs (menara intai) sejauh ±67 m dan daerah belakang perumahan sejauh ±314 m dari menara intai, yang diduga sebagai pondasi pagar situs.
ENGLISH:
Study of the archaeological heritage can not provides the information to obtain the behavior of social, cultural of ancestors, and history of civilization. Biting site is a relic of the kingdom of Majapahit in Sukodono Lumajang, which formed by the mound of rocks, the pieced brickes of castle. So, it is needed a method to estimate subsurface structure, the archeological exsistance and position of the site use geo-electric method. Data were collected by using a resistivity meter with the Wenner-mapping configuration (path length of 26 meter electrode spacing 2 meter). Data processing and modeling were done using software RES2DINV and Corel Draw. It presented, the resistivity values between 35,4Ωm–92,6Ωm (the bricks of the site) was spreaded over the tower foundation reconnaissance as seen on vertical panel model. It was hypotezied that there are hidden site on the southern of the site and behind housing lying over ± 67 meter and ± 314 meter repectively, it was estimated as foundation of the site fence.
