Abstract

ABSTRAK

Perkembangan teknologi material keramik semikonduktor saat ini sangat pesat. Hal ini ditandai dengan penggunaan material keramik semikonduktor dalam berbagai alat elektronik, seperti Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh temperatur kalsinasi terhadap perubahan fasa, ukuran kristal, sifat listrik dan efisiensi DSSC. Hasil karakterisasi difraksi sinar X yang dipanaskan pada temperatur kalsinasi Tk 600 oC, 650 oC, dan 700 oC terbentuk fasa baru yaitu magnesium stannate (MgSnO3) pada 2θ 38.25o dan magnesium orthostannate (Mg2SnO4) pada 2θ 26o, 34o, 36o, dan 66o. Hasil pengujian listrik menunjukkan bahwa temperatur kalsinasi yang paling tepat untuk aplikasi Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) adalah sampel Tk 700 oC dengan efisiensi sebesar 5.09 × 10-6%, memiliki konduktivitas listrik 471.32 (Ωm)-1 dan memiliki fasa MgO, SnO2, MgSnO3, dan Mg2SnO4 sehingga mampu menyerap panjang gelombang yang lebih banyak.

ABSTRACT

Semiconductor ceramic materials technology development at this time is very fast. It is characterized by the use of a semiconductor ceramic material in a variety of electronic devices, such as Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC). This study aims to determine the effect of calcination temperature on the phase change, the size of the crystals, electrical properties and efficiency of DSSC. Results of X-ray diffraction characterization heated at calcination temperature Tk 600 oC, 650 oC and 700 oC formed a new phase, namely magnesium stannate (MgSnO3) at 2θ 38.25o and magnesium orthostannate (Mg2SnO4) at 2θ 26o, 34o, 36o and 66o. Electrical test results showed that the calcination temperature is most appropriate for applications Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) are samples of Tk 700 °C with an efficiency of 5.09 × 10-6%, the electrical conductivity 471.32 (Ωm) -1 and has a phase MgO, SnO2, MgSnO3, and Mg2SnO4 so as to absorb more wavelengths.
