Abstract

ABSTRAK

Air dapat melarutkan berbagai macam zat kimia seperti oksigen, hidrogen dan lain-lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dengan menggunakan aplikasi kincir air merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kadar oksigen dalam air tersebut. Kincir air yang digunakan yakni centrifugal screw impeller, centrifugal impeller dan propeller yang dihubungkan pada poros. Desain kincir air dibuat sedemikian rupa agar dapat mengolah air secara maksimal sehingga mampu membentuk pusaran (vortex) dengan kecepatan alternator 950 rpm, kemudian air olahan tersebut diuji kandungan kadar oksigen dengan menggunakan alat DO meter.

Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kadar oksigen dalam air olahan kincir centrifugal screw impeller dengan lama perlakuan 10 menit 9,32 mg/L, lama perlakuan 20 menit 9,54 mg/L dan dengan lama perlakuan 30 menit 10,11 mg/L. Air olahan kincir centrifugal impeller dengan lama perlakuan 10 menit 9,39 mg/L, lama perlakuan 20 menit 9,59 mg/L dan lama perlakuan 30 menit 10,21mg/L. Air olahan kincir propeller dengan lama perlakuan 10 menit 9,46 mg/L, lama perlakuan 20 menit 9,73 mg/L dan lama perlakuan 30 menit 10,73 mg/L. Sedangkan untuk nilai rata-rata kadar oksigen setelah perlakuan kincir yakni kincir centrifugal screw impeller dengan lama perlakuan 10 menit 8,33 mg/L, lama perlakuan 20 menit 8,67 mg/L dan lama perlakuan 30 menit 9,09 mg/L. Aplikasi setelah perlakuan kincir centrifugal impeller dengan lama perlakuan 10 menit 8,73 mg/L, lama perlakuan 20 menit 8,84 mg/L dan lama perlakuan 30 menith 9,15. Aplikasi setelah perlakuan kincir propeller dengan lama perlakuan 10 menit 8,81 mg/L, lama perlakuan 20 menit 9,17 mg/L dan lama perlakuan 30 menit 9,39 mg/L. Aplikasi kincir pada penelitian ini sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kadar oksigen dalam air, dan untuk kincir air yang lebih ideal untuk meningkatkan kadar oksigen dalam air adalah kincir air propeller.

ABSTRACT

Water can dissolve a wide variety of chemical substances such as oxygen, hydrogen and others. The purpose of this study using a waterwheel application is an attempt to increase oxygen levels in the water. Waterwheel which used the screw centrifugal impeller, centrifugal impeller and connected to the propeller shaft. Waterwheel design was made such that in order to treat water to the maximum so as to form a vortex (vortex) at a speed of 950 rpm alternator, then the treated water tested contains levels of oxygen by using a DO meter.

The results showed an average value of the oxygen content in the treated water mill screw centrifugal impeller with treatment of 10 minutes 9.32 mg/L, duration of treatment 20 min 9.54 mg/L and the treatment time of 30 minutes 10.11 mg/L. Treated water windmill centrifugal impeller with treatment time 10 minutes 9.39 mg/L, treatment time 20 min 9.59 mg/L and 30 minute treatment time of 10.21 mg/L. Treated water windmill propeller with treatment time 10 minutes 9.46 mg/L, treatment time 20 min 9.73 mg/L and the treatment time of 30 minutes 10.73 mg/L. As for the average value of the oxygen content after the treatment windmill screw centrifugal impeller with
10 minute treatment time of 8.33 mg/L, duration of treatment 20 min 8.67 mg/L and 30 minutes treatment time of 9.09 mg/L. Applications after treatment windmill centrifugal impeller with treatment time 10 minutes 8.73 mg/L, treatment time 20 min 8.84 mg/L and 30 minutes treatment time 9.15. Applications after treatment with the old windmill propeller treatment 10 minutes 8.81 mg/L, treatment time 20 min 9.17 mg/L and 30 minutes treatment time of 9.39 mg/L. Applications windmill in this study was very influential in increasing oxygen levels in the water, and to the waterwheel that is ideal for increasing oxygen levels in the water are waterwheel propeller.
