Abstract
ABSTRAK
Sensor kelembaban berbasis polimer banyak dimanfaatkan karena mempunyai proses fabrikasi yang mudah dan murah. Sensor PVA-NaCl-APS ditambahkan SiO2 dengan variasi 0, 20, 40, 60 (% wt) dilakukan untuk memperbaiki sensitivitas, respon time, dan ketahanan terhadap kontaminasi RH tinggi. Pasta di deposisikan pada substrat elektroda interdigital dengan metode dip-coating. Pengukuran sifat listrik dilakukan dengan menggunakan multimeter digital di dalam chamber yang telah di atur kelembabannya. Penambahan SiO2 mampu meningkatkan resistansi serta memperbaiki sensitivitas, swelling, ketahanan sensor, dan mempercepat respon time secara signifikan. Sensor PVA-NaCl-APS dengan penambahan SiO2 mempunyai daerah kerja pada rentang kelembaban 68% sampai 80%. Sensitivitas sensor dan swelling terbaik di dapatkan pada penambahan SiO2 40% wt. Respon time tercepat di dapatkan pada sensor dengan penambahan SiO2 60% wt yaitu 15 detik.
ABSTRACT
Humidity sensor based on polymers has been used because the fabrication process is easy and cheep. PVA-NaCl-APS sensor has been added SiO2 with variation 0, 20, 40, 60 (% wt) has been done to improve the sensitivity, response time, and resistances of high RH contamination. Paste has been deposited on the interdigital electrodes substrate by dip-coating method. Measurement of electrical properties use a digital multimeter in chamber that has been set up the humidity. The additions of SiO2 increase the electrical resistance and improv sensitivity, swelling, sensor resistances, and increase the response time significantly. PVA-NaCl-APS sensors with the additions SiO2 have a range of bandwidth on humidity 68% to 80%. The best sensitivity sensor and swelling have been obtained on sensors with the addition of SiO2 40 % wt. The fastest response time have been obtained in sensor with addition SiO2 60% wt it is 15 seconds.
