Abstract
ABSTRAK
Sensor berbahan PVA-NaCl merupakan sensor kelembaban yang memiliki sensitivitas kurang stabil. Dibutuhkan penambahan MgO agar mendapatkan sensor yang lebih stabil dengan histerisis resistansi kecil, sensitivitas tinggi, respon cepat, serta tahan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan. PVA 1 gr, NaCl 0,08 gr, dan variasi penambahan MgO 0, 10, 20, 30 (%wt) dilarutkan dalam 10 ml aquabiddest, kemudian ditambah APS untuk membentuk crosslink pada rantai PVA. Pasta PVA-MgO-NaCl yang sudah terpolimerisasi di dip-coating pada permukaan elektroda interdigital. Hasil uji FTIR menunjukkan adanya gugus fungsi OH dan MgO yang dapat mengikat H2O di udara. Nilai histerisis paling kecil didapatkan pada sensor berbahan PVA-MgO 30%-NaCl. Sedangkan, sensor berbahan PVA-MgO 20%-NaCl memiliki sensitivitas paling tinggi, waktu respon rata-rata tercepat selama 17 detik dengan prosenstase swelling paling rendah.
ABSTRACT
PVA-NaCl sensor is humidity sensor has unstable sensitivity. MgO was added in order to get more stable sensor with small hysteresis resistance, high sensitivity, fast response, and last in the environmental. PVA 1 g, NaCl 0.08 g, and variation addition with MgO 0, 10, 20, 30 (% wt) dissolved in 10 ml aquabiddest, and added APS to form crosslink the PVA chains. Pasta PVA-MgO-NaCl, which has been polymerized, has to be dip-coated on the surface of the interdigital electrodes. FTIR test results indicated the exixtence of OH and MgO functions that can bind H2O on the air. The smallest hysteresis values is obtained on PVA-MgO 30%-NaCl sensor. PVA-MgO 20%-NaCl sensor has the highest sensitivity, the highest average response is 17 seconds and the lowest swelling presentation.
