Abstract
ABSTRAK
Posisi Indonesia yang terletak pada pertemuan tiga lempeng (Eurasia, Hindia Australia, dan Pasifik ) menyebabkan terbentuknya deretan gunungapi di sebagian wilayah negara ini, dan menyebabkan terbentuknya sumber energi panasbumi di sekitar gunungapi tersebut. Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan metode gravitasi pada tanggal 26 - 27 April 2011 di daerah Songgoriti Kota Batu dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pola anomali Bouguer dan struktur geologi bawah permukaan serta potensi panasbumi di daerah tersebut.
Setelah dilakukan koreksi data meliputi: konversi ke mgal, koreksi drift, koreksi tidal, koreksi lintang dan koreksi topografi, maka didapatkan nilai anomali Bouguer lengkap. Selanjutnya dilakukan interpretasi secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Interpretasi kualitatif dilakukan dengan membaca pola kontur anomali Bouguer lengkap, sedangkan interpretasi kuantitatif dilakukan dengan membuat penampang 2D pada dua lintasan AB dan CD.
Berdasarkan interpretasi kualitatif pada kontur anomali Bouguer lengkap didapatkan variasi nilai anomali Bouguer antara 47,3 - 67,4 mGal dengan nilai anomali tinggi terdapat pada arah tenggara penelitian dan nilai anomali sedang pada arah tenggara-selatan dan timur laut daerah penelitian. Hampir 75% daerah penelitian didominasi oleh nilai anomali Bouguer rendah. Berdasarakan interpretasi kuantitatif pada model penampang 2D lintasan AB dan CD, didapatkan tujuh lapisan batuan di bawah permukaan yaitu lapisan lapuk, tufa pasiran, anglomerat, lempung pasir, breksi tufaan terlempungkan, lava, dan breksi Vulkanik. Berdasarkan sifat fisik dari tiap lapisan batuan, diduga batuan sarang dalam sistem geothermal di daerah penelitian adalah batuan breksi vulkanik dengan batuan penutup (cap rock) berupa batuan tufa terlempungkan. Berdasarkan interpretasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif serta penelitian sebelumya dapat disimpulkan bahwa potensi geothermal di daerah penelitian sangat kecil.
ABSTRACT
The position of Indonesia is situated at the confluence of three plates (Eurasian, Australian Indies, and Pacific) causes the formation of a row of volcanoes in parts of the country, and cause the formation of geothermal energy resources around the volcano. Studies have been conducted with the gravity method on 26 to 27 April 2011 in the area Songgoriti Stone Town with a view to determine the pattern of Bouguer anomalies and subsurface geological structure and geothermal potential in the area.
After correction of the data include: conversion to mgal, drift correction, tidal correction, correction latitude and topographic correction, then obtained a complete Bouguer anomaly values. Then performed a qualitative and quantitative interpretation. Qualitative interpretation is done by reading the complete Bouguer anomaly contour pattern, whereas the quantitative interpretation is done by making the 2D cross-section of two trajectories AB and CD.
Based on qualitative interpretation of the complete Bouguer anomaly contour variations obtained Bouguer anomaly values between 47.3 to 67.4 mGal with high anomaly values found in the southeast of research area and the middle anomaly in the southeast-south and northeast areas of research. Nearly 75% of the research area is dominated by low Bouguer anomaly values. Based on the quantitative interpretation of the 2D cross-section model of the trajectory AB and CD, obtained seven layers of rock beneath the surface: weathered rock, sandy tuffs, anglomerat, clay sand, tuffs argillaceous breccia, lava and volcanic breccia. Based on the physical properties of each layer of rock, believed in the system of geothermal reservoir rocks in the study area is a volcanic rock breccia with rock cover (cap rock) is rock argillaceous tuff. Based on the interpretation of qualitative and quantitative as well as previous research can be concluded that the geothermal potential in the study area is very small.
