Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai konstruksi model matematika untuk proses sintesis protein yang melibatkan interaksi beberapa gen regulator utama di dalam sel yang meliputi: gen IR, gen IRS-1, gen PKB, gen mTORC1, dan gen S6K1. Metode yang digunakan untuk merepreseantasikan fenomena interaksi gen untuk sintesis protein adalah pemodelan matematika. Adapun langkah-langkahnya antara lain: (1) mengidentifikasi fenomena, variabel, parameter ,dan asumsi, (2) menentukan bobot/skor dari hubungan antar variabel melalui analisis docking, (3) mengonstruksi model diagram alur untuk sintesis protein yang melibatkan interaksi beberapa gen dari dari jurnal terdahulu oleh (Brannmark dkk, 2013), dan (4) mengonstruksi model matematika untuk sintesis protein yang melibatkan interaksi beberapa gen melalui analisis faktor pertumbuhan antar gen, (5) serta menginterpretasi grafik model matematika untuk sintesis protein yang melibatkan interaksi beberapa gen yang dirujuk dari jurnal penelitian sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengonstruksi model matematika untuk sintesis protein yang melibatkan interaksi beberapa gen dengan melibatkan fungsi pertumbuhan populasi yang menggambarkan interaksi antar gen yang terlibat. Sehingga, menghasilkan persamaan model matematika untuk sintesis protein dari interaksi beberapa gen dengan persamaan diferensial biasa bergantung waktu yang melibatkan variabel z_1= gen IR, z_2= gen IRS-1, z_3= gen PKB, z_4= gen mTORC1, dan z_5= gen S6K1. Model yang telah dikonstruksi, selajutnya dikonfimasi dengan cara simulasi berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu. Sehingga diperoleh skor docking antar variabel pada saat grafik dalam kondisi normal. Model matematika yang telah dikonstruksi dapat dikerjakan unutk penelitian selanjutnya, yaitu uji validasi dan simulasi.

ABSTRACT

This research discusses the construction of a mathematical model for the process of protein synthesis which involves the interaction of several major regulatory genes in cells which include: IR gene, IRS-1 gene, PKB gene, mTORC1 gene, and S6K1 gene. The method to solve the problem is mathematical modeling, because the phenomenon is very complex. The steps in mathematical modeling include: (1) identifying phenomenon, variables, parameters, and assumptions, (2) determining the weight/score of the relation between variables through docking analysis, (3) constructing pathway models for protein synthesis involving interaction of several genes from previous journals by (Brannmark et al, 2013), (4) constructing mathematical models for protein synthesis that involve the interaction of several genes through analysis of growth factors between genes, and (5) interpreting graphs of mathematical models for protein synthesis involving interaction of several genes in normal conditions. The purpose of this research, to construct a mathematical model for the process of protein synthesis that involves the interaction of several genes by involving the population growth function to describe the interactions between the genes involved. Accordingly, producing a mathematical model equation for protein synthesis from the interaction of several genes with ordinary differential equations dependent of the time, involving variables z_1= IR gene, z_2= IRS-1 gene, z_3= PKB gene, z_4= mTORC1 gene, and z_5= S6K1 gene.The mathematical model that has been compiled can be done for further research.
