Abstract

ABSTRAK

Profesionalisme guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 sangat tidak mudah, ada banyak permasalahan dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 seperti halnya kurangnya sosialisasi dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan guru yang profesional dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013. Profesionalisme guru lebih ke arah mental dalam bentuk komitmen untuk mewujudkan dan meningkatkan kualitas profesionalitas. Dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 dibutuhkan guru yang profesional kreatif dan inovatif.

Berdasarkan uraian diatas, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Plus Al- Kautsar Malang. Adapun penulisan skripsi bertujuan: 1). Untuk mengetahui profesionalisme guru IPS di SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang. 2). Untuk mengetahui profesionalisme guru IPS dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Plus Al- Kautsar Malang.

Menurut jenisnya, penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam (indepth interview), observasi (observation) dan dokumentasi (dokumentary study). Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu: 1) pra lapangan, 2) pekerjaan lapangan, dan 3) analisis data.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti di SMP Plus Al- Kautsar Malang, menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru IPS dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang sudah baik, guru IPS yang mengajar IPS Terpadu sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya yang memiliki standar kualifikasi pendidikan minimal S1. Agar tercapainya proses pembelajaran yang efektif, efisien dan sukses dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013, guru SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang dituntut mempunyai empat kompetensi (Komptensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional). Hal ini karena profesionalisme guru IPS mampu mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran peserta didiknya. Dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 guru juga dituntut memiliki keahlian tertentu artinya memiliki kesiapan dalam menerapakan kurikulum 2013dengan sosialisasi sesuai bidangnya untuk memperkaya ilmu pengetahuan yang akan diajarkannya. Kurikulum 2013 menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yang merupakan pembelajaran perpusat pada siswa, dengan menggunakan cara 5M (mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasi, mengkomunikasi). Diharapkan semua guru mampu mengikuti penataran, sedangkan kepala sekolah ikut memantau kinerja guru demi peningkatan profesionalisme guru di SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang.

ABSTRACT

Teacher Professionalism in implementing Curriculum 2013 was difficult; there were many problems in implementing Curriculum 2013 as well as the lack of socialization in the implementation of Curriculum 2013. Therefore necessary of teacher professionalism was in implementing Curriculum 2013. The professionalism of teachers was in mental of the form of a commitment to realize and improve the quality of professionalism. In applying the curriculum 2013 teachers need creative and innovative professionals.

Based on the description above, this study was conducted in SMP Plus Al- Kautsar Malang. The thesis aimed: 1). To know in junior high school social studies teacher professionalism Plus Al-Kautsar Malang. 2). To determine the level of professionalism of social studies teachers in implementing Curriculum 2013 in the Junior Plus Al-Kautsar Malang.

The type of the study included descriptive qualitative research. Methods of data collection used in-depth interviews (depth interview), observations (observation) and documentation (documentary study). This study consisted of three phases, namely: 1) pre-field, 2) field work, and 3) data analysis.

Based on the research results obtained by researcher at SMP Plus Al- Kautsar Malang, showed that the professionalism social studies teacher in implementing Curriculum 2013 in the Junior Plus Al-kautsar Malang was good, a social studies teacher who taught Integrated IPS in accordance with their expertise who have a minimum education qualification standard S1 , In order to achieve the effective learning process, efficient and successful in the implementation of the curriculum in 2013, teacher of SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang were required to have four competencies (pedagogic competence, personality, social and professional). This was due to the professionalism of teachers IPS capable of affecting the quality of learning learners. In applying the 2013 curriculum teacher were also required to have a certain expertise in applying the means to have a readiness in curriculum 2013 with socialization according to the field to enrich the knowledge that will be taught Curriculum 2013 using a scientific approach that was centered on student learning, by using 5M in Indonesia (observe, ask, gather information, associate, communicate). It was hoped all teachers were able to follow upgrading, while the principal monitorized the performance of teachers in order to improve the professionalism of teachers in SMP Plus Al-Kautsar Malang.
