Abstract
ABSTRAK
Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue melalui nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Pemberantasan Aedes aegypti telah banyak dilakukan, namun sampai sekarang pengendalian dari vektor utama penyakit DBD ini masih dititik beratkan pada pemberantasan secara kimia yang menimbulkan resistensi serangga dan pencemaran lingkungan. Daun rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) mengandung senyawa tanin dan saponin yang larut dalam air dan dapat bertindak sebagai larvasida nabati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak daun rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) dengan pelarut air terhadap mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti instar III dan IV, serta nilai LC50 dan LC90.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan yaitu 0% (0gr/100ml) sebagai kontrol; 0,2% (0,2gr/100ml); 0,4% (0,4gr/100ml); 0,8% (0,8gr/100ml); 1,6% (1,6gr/100ml); dan 3,2% (3,2gr/100ml) dan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Data persentase mortalitas dianalisis menggunakan One Way Anova dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Duncan, serta analisis probit untuk mencari nilai LC50 dan LC90. Abnormalitas morfologi larva Aedes aegypti instar III dan IV pada kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan dengan larva normal pada kontrol.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak daun rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) dengan pelarut air dalam setiap waktu dedah 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, dan 72 jam berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti instar III dan IV, serta konsentrasi yang paling berpengaruh pada larva Aedes aegypti instar III berturut-turut adalah 0,8%; 3,2%; 3,2%; 3,2%; 0,8% dan 1,6%; sedangkan pada instar IV berturut- turut adalah 0,8%; 0,8%; 0,8%; 1,6%; 1,6%, dan 1,6%. Pada waktu dedah 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, dan 72 jam nilai LC50 dan LC90 yang efektif terhadap mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti instar III berturut-turut sebesar 11,982% dan 337,578%; 1,185% dan 8,371%; 0,637% dan 3,4%; 0,510% dan 3,176%; 0,415% dan 2,176%; serta 0,358% dan 1,617%, sedangkan nilai LC50 dan LC90 pada mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti instar IV berturut-turut sebesar 17,15% dan 427,113%; 2,579% dan 21,938%; 1,390% dan 11,046%; 1,020% dan 3,612%; 0,661% dan 3,612%; serta 0,558% dan 3,049%.
ABSTRACT
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) is a disease caused by the dengue virus through mosquito Aedes aegypti. Eradication of Aedes aegypti has a lot to do, but until now the main vector control of dengue disease is still concentrated on the chemical eradication of insect resistance and cause environmental pollution. Leaves of rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) contain tannin and saponin compounds are water soluble and can act as larvicides vegetable. This study aimed to determine the effect of leaf extract concentrations rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) with solvent water on mortality instar larvae of Aedes aegypti III and IV, as well as the LC50 and LC90 values.
This type of research is experimental with completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 6 treatments is 0% (0gr/100ml) as a control, 0.2% (0.2 gr/100ml), 0.4% (0.4 g / 100ml), 0.8% (0.8 gr/100ml), 1.6% (1.6 gr/100ml) and 3.2% (3.2 gr/100ml) and repeated 4 times. Percentage mortality data were analyzed using One Way ANOVA, followed by Duncan Range Test, and probit analysis to find the value of LC50 and LC90. Morphological abnormalities instar larvae of Aedes aegypti III and IV in the treatment group compared with normal larvae in control.
The results showed the leaf extract rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) with solvent water in any time uncovered 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, and 72 hours of effect on mortality of third instar larvae of Aedes aegypti in a row is 0.8%; 3 , 2%, 3.2%, 3.2%, 0.8% and 1.6%, while in the fourth instar, respectively, 0.8%, 0.8%, 0.8%, 1.6 %, 1.6%, and 1.6%. Uncovered at 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, and 72-hour LC50 and LC90 values are effective against mortality of third instar larvae of Aedes aegypti, respectively for 11.982% and 337.578%, 1.185% and 8.371%, 0.637%, and 3, 4%, 0.510% and 3.176%, 0.415% and 2.176%, and 0.358% and 1.617%, while the LC50 and LC90 values in mortality fourth instar larvae of Aedes aegypti, respectively for 17.15% and 427.113%, 2.579% and 21.938 %, 1.390% and 11.046%, 1.020% and 3.612%, 0.661% and 3.612%, and 0.558% and 3.049%.
