Abstract
Abstract
Guided discovery is one form of teaching methods that allow learners are better able to develop the power of creativity and the desire for a wider move freely so that the role of teachers is restricted to a minimum while the role of learners are given the freedom as much as possible. In the Guided Discovery, the teacher serves as a facilitator.
Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning approach to the problem of authentic student learning so that students can construct their own knowledge, foster better keterlampilan develop high and inqury, memandirikan students and increase the self- confidence.
The purpose of this study was to: (1) Application of Combination Strategy Guided Discovery with Problem Based Learning through scientific approaches to promote creativity in the lesson IPS Grade VII D in MTsN Malang II, (2) the process of increasing activity and learning kahasil Guided Implementation Strategy Combination Guided Discovery with Problem Based Learning through scientific approach to enhance the activity and learning outcomes in Social Studies Grade VII D in MTsN Malang II, (3) learning outcomes Implementation Strategy Guided Discovery combination with Problem Based Learning through a scientific approach to enhance the activity and results in learning social studies Grade VII D in MTsN Malang II
The research approach using qualitative research approach, the classroom action research techniques used in data collection include: observation, interviews, documentation, test measurement and analysis used by researchers using qualitative descriptive technique. The sequence includes four stage research activities include: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection.
The results showed that there were increasing. In the pre-action student activity by 40% (low category) and increased in the first cycle so as to 71% (category enough). but in the first cycle is perceived student learning activities is not maximized so do the second cycle and the results have significantly increased over that to 96%. student learning outcomes before the pre-action or action with the details of the 32 students, 12 students or 37.5% reached complete learn appropriate minimum passing standards (SKM) which determined that 75, and 20 students or 62.5% has not been reached SKM. Having carried out the action on the first cycle, 20 students or 62.5% to reach SKM and 12 students or 37.5% has not been reached SKM. Then the researchers went on the second cycle, the result is 30 students or by 93.75% to reach SKM and 2 students or by 6.25% has not been reached SKM.
ABSTRAK
Guided discovery atau penemuan terbimbing merupakan salah satu bentuk metode mengajar yang memungkinkan peserta didik lebih mampu mengembangkan daya kreativitas dan keinginan-keinginan bergerak yang lebih luas dan bebas sehingga peranan guru dibatasi seminim mungkin sedangkan peranan peserta didik diberi kebebasan semaksimal mungkin. Dalam Guided Discovery, guru berfungsi sebagai fasilitator.
Model Problrm Based Learning (PBL) adalah model pemebalajaran dengan pendekatan pembelajaran siswa pada masalah autentik sehingga siswa dapat menyusun pengetahuan sendiri, menumbuhkan kembangkan keterlampilan yang lebih baik tinggi dan inqury, memandirikan siswa dan meningkatakan kepercayaan diri sendiri.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) Penerapan Kombinasi Strategi Guided Discovery dengan Problem Based Learning melalui pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dalam Pelajaran IPS Siswa Kelas VII D di MTsN Malang II, (2) proses peningkatkan keaktifan dan kahasil belajar Penerapan Kombinasi Strategi Guided Discovery dengan Problem Based Learning melalui pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar dalam Pelajaran IPS Siswa Kelas VII D di MTsN Malang II, (3) hasil belajar Penerapan Kombinasi Strategi Guided Discovery dengan Problem Based Learning melalui pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil dalam belajar Pelajaran IPS Siswa Kelas VII D di MTsN Malang II
Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data antara lain: observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, pengukuran tes, dan Analisis yang digunakan peneliti menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Urutan kegiatan penelitian mencakup 4 tahap meliputi: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan dan (4) refleksi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatkan. Pada pra tindakan keaktifan siswa sebesar 40% (kategori rendah) dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sehingga menjadi 71% (kategori cukup). namun pada siklus I ini dirasa aktivitas belajar siswa belum maksimal sehingga dilakukan siklus II dan hasilnyapun mengalami peningkatan yang lebih signifikan yaitu menjadi 96 %. hasil belajar siswa pra tindakan atau sebelum tindakan dengan rincian dari 32 siswa, 12 siswa atau sebesar 37,5 % mencapai ketuntasan belajar sesuai standar kelulusan minimal (SKM) yang ditentukan yaitu 75, dan 20 siswa atau sebesar 62,5% belum mencapai SKM. Setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus I, 20 siswa atau sebesar 62,5% mencapai SKM dan 12 siswa atau 37,5% belum mencapai SKM. Kemudian peneliti melanjutkan tindakan siklus II, hasilnya 30 siswa atau sebesar 93,75% mencapai SKM dan 2 siswa atau sebesar 6,25% belum mencapai SKM.
