Hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan pengambilan keputusan masalah pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN Maliki Malang

ABSTRAK

Pada dasarnya antara kecerdasan emosional dengan pengambilan keputusan saling berhubungan. Kecerdasan emosional merupakan himpunan bagian dari pengambilan keputusan yang melibatkan kemampuan memantau perasaan dan emosi baik pada diri sendiri maupun pada orang lain dalam mengambil sebuah permasalahan. Rumusan masalah yang diambil oleh peneliti adalah Apakah ada pengaruh kecerdasan emosional di dalam pengambilan keputusan masalah pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang, Apakah Ada pengaruh pengambilan keputusan dengan kecerdasan emosional pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang, Apakah ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan Pengambilan keputusan masalah pada mahasiswa jurusan psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah tingkat kecerdasan emosional Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang, bagaimanakah tingkat pengambilan keputusan Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang, serta mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional dan pengambilan keputusan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan memakai metode random sampling dan quota sampling. Subyek penelitian ini pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang angkatan 2011 yang berjumlah 198 orang.

Pada penelitian ini diketahui bahwasanya kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang tergolong sedang dengan persentase 45 %. Untuk tingkat pengambilan keputusan mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 64%. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai rhit 0.647 dengan propabilitas 0.000. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan pengambilan keputusan mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN MALIKI Malang. Hal ini berdasarkan pada nilai rhit 0.647 dan nilai rtabel adalah 0.195. Berdasarkan taraf signifikansi 5 % r hitung dari hasil korelasi memiliki nilai rhit 0.647 > rtabel 0.195. Semakin tinggi tingkat kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa, semakin tinggi pula pengambilan keputusan masalah pada mahasiswa.

Their thinking pattern only follows the common senses or the taken-for- granted things around them such as life style, reasoning pattern and career option. Emotional intelligence and decision making are interdependent. Emotional intelligence refers to a part of decision making which involves the ability to monitor feeling and emotion either to the individual or to others in making a decision against problem. Formulation of the problem is taken by investigators Is there any influence of emotional intelligence in the decision-making problem at the Faculty of Psychology MALIKI UIN Malang, Is There influence decision making with emotional intelligence at the Faculty of Psychology MALIKI UIN Malang, Is there a relationship between emotional intelligence and decision making problems in students majoring in psychology MALIKI UIN Malang

The objectives of research are to understand how is emotional intelligence rate of the students of Faculty of Psychology of UIN MALIKI Malang, to acknowledge how is the decision making rate of the students of Faculty of Psychology of UIN MALIKI Malang, and to figure out the relationship between emotional intelligence and decision making in the students of Faculty of Psychology of UIN MALIKI Malang.

Research method is correlational quantitative using the method of random sampling and quota sampling and the subject of research is 198 Class 2011 students of Faculty of Psychology of UIN MALIKI Malang.

Result of research indicates that emotional intelligence of students of Faculty of Psychology of UIN MALIKI Malang is moderate with 45 % in percentage point. For decision making rate, the students of Faculty of Psychology of UIN MALIKI Malang remain in moderate category with 64 %. Result of correlational test shows that r-count is 0.647 while the probability is 0.000. Based on these results of research, it is concluded that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and decision making in the students of Faculty of Psychology of UIN MALIKI Malang. It is proved by r-count of 0.647 and r-table of 0.195. With the significance rate of 5%, the correlation can be described as r-count of 0.647 > r-table of 0.195. It means that the higher emotional intelligence of students, the higher decision making on problem among students.
