Abstract
ABSTRACT
There are many schools are still using conventional learning method, for example is oral method, where in this method that teacher is becoming centered in learning process, conventional learning method considers teacher as the only one source of learning and omniscient, so the independence in learning is not visible, and it was proven that when learning was begun, many students just talk among themselves and they are bored of the method that’s used by social science teacher. It is also very influential on students’ achievement in the classroom. If the implementation of learning method only use oral method as the primary method, then the students will be bored when learning takes place, it does not mean that oral method is not suitable to be used in the classroom, but oral method dominate students not to take an active role and also they cannot be independent in learning because students feel bored and tired.
The purpose of research that’s conducted by researcher are: (1) Describing the design of everyone is a teacher here learning method to increase Achievement of Social Science learning at VIII F class of SMPN 13 Malang; (2) Exploring the implementation of everyone is a teacher here learning method to increase Achievement of Social Science learning at VIII F class of SMPN 13 Malang; (3) Identifying the learning assessment (process and outcome) by implementing everyone is a teacher here learning method to increase Achievement of Social Science learning at VIII F class of SMPN 13
Malang;
This research is including to Classroom Action Research, where the instrument of this research is used observation, the result of test, field note, student’s measurement during learning takes a place, interview, and questionnaire. While the analyses of this research is used descriptive analyses technique, qualitative and quantitative data that’s obtained from observation takes a place.
The result of this research show that everyone is a teacher here learning can increase achievement of social learning. It is evidence that the success rate of students in the class is 34 students or 90%. Based on observations that have been carried out that there is an increase in student achievement that initially the percentage of students is about 51% of students who completed in the pre- test increased become 77% of students who completed the post test in the first cycle, and increased again become 90% in the second cycle.

Terdapat beberapa sekolah yang masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional, contohnya ialah metode ceramah, dimana metode pembelajaran tersebut berpusat pada guru, pembelajaran konvensional menganggap guru merupakan satu-satunya sumber belajar yang dianggap serba tahu, sehingga kemandirian dalam pembelajaran tersebut tidak tampak, dan terbukti bahwa terdapat beberapa siswa yang merasa bosan dengan metode yang dipakai guru. Hal ini juga sangat berpengaruh terhadap prestasi siswa di dalam kelas. Jika penerapan metode pembelajaran hanya menggunakan metode ceramah sebagai metode utama, maka siswa akan merasa bosan ketika pembelajaran berlangsung, bukan berarti metode ceramah tidak cocok untuk digunakan di dalam kelas, akan tetapi metode ceramah mendominasi siswa untuk tidak berperan aktif dan tidak bisa belajar mandiri karena siswa merasa bosan dan jenuh.
Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan metode pembelajaran Everyone is a teacher here dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas VIII F SMPN 13 Malang; (2) untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan metode Everyone is a teacher here sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas VIII F SMPN 13 Malang; (3) Untuk mengidentifikasi proses penilaian pembelajaran (proses dan hasil) dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran everyone is a teacher untuk Meningkatkan prestasi pembelajaran IPS pada siswa Kelas VIII F SMPN 13 Malang
Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Adapun pengumpulan data di dalam penelitian ini ialah menggunakan hasil tes, catatan lapangan, penilaian siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran, wawancara , dan angket. Sedangkan untuk analisisnya, penulis penggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh selama melakukan pengamatan langsung di lapangan.
Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Everyone is a teacher here dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Hal ini terbukti dari tingkat keberhasilan siswa di dalam kelas ialah terdapat 34 siswa atau sebesar 90% siswa yang dinyatakan tuntas di dalam pembelajaran IPS. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilaksanakan pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa yang semula presentase siswa sebesar 51% siswa yang tuntas di dalam pre test meningkat menjadi 77% siswa yang tuntas di siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 90% di siklus II.
