Abstract
ABSTRAK
Metode Pembelajaran adalah suatu cara atau pendekatan dalam proses belajar mengajar yang dipergunakan oleh guru saat menyajikan atau menyampaikan materi pelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini dikhususkan pada mata pelajaran IPS karena mata pelajaran IPS sebagian besar materinya bersifat deskriptif serta di dalam mata pelajaran IPS banyak mengaitkan fakta-fakta dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Untuk mempermudah itu perlu adanya metode pembelajaran agar proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
Adapun permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana Proses Perencanaan Metode Pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS, (2) Bagaimana Proses Pelaksanaan Metode Pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS, (3) Bagaimana Hasil Evaluasi Metode Pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Negeri Tumpang. Dengan desain penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian yang penulis lakukan adalah termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik perpanjangan pengamatan, ketekunan pengamatan, dan triangulasi.
Hasil pada penelitian ini berupa: pertama, perencanaan diskenariokan pada II siklus dan dilakukan dengan merancang materi dan metode Everyone is a Teacher Here. Kedua, dalam proses pelaksanaannya penelitian dilakukan bersama dengan guru dan peneliti. Ketiga, terlihat peningkatan nilai akademik yang disertai dengan bertambahnya motivasi dan antusiasme belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran tersebut dari hasil penerapan metode Everyone is a Teacher Here.
ABSTRACT
Learning method is an approach applied by teacher on explaining the material during learning process. This research is focused on the analysis upon Social Science since this subject deals with descriptive material which concerns on observing factual situation within daily life. To support material delivering process, it needs a learning method which aims to upgrade students‟ learning motivation.
In this research, the writer formulated the problems into: (1) How is the planning process of learning method Everyone is A Teacher Here on upgrading students‟ learning motivation on Social Science subject?, (2) How is the application of learning method Everyone is A Teacher Here on upgrading students‟ learning motivation on Social Science subject?, (3) How is the result of evaluation of learning method Everyone is A Teacher Here on upgrading students‟ learning motivation on Social Science subject?
This research was conducted in MTs Negeri Tumpang under Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research design. The type of research was qualitative descriptive. The data analysis was obtained from interviewing, observing, and documenting method. In addition, the writer examined the validity of the data by using observational extension, observational accuracy, and triangulation.
The results of this research showed; firstly, the planning process was arranged within two phases and it was done by designing material and method Everyone is A Teacher Here. Secondly, on undergoing the application of the method, the writer ran it in corporation with the teachers. The last, by applying learning method Everyone is A Teacher Here, the result showed that this method contributed significantly on influencing the students‟ score which got increased. Furthermore, this method also upgraded students‟ learning motivation and enthusiasm during learning process in Social Science subject.
