Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pendekatan saintifik adalah proses pembelajaran yang dirancang sedemikian rupa agar peserta didik secara aktif mengonstruk konsep, hukum atau prinsip melalui tahapan-tahapan mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba dan mengkomunikasikan.
Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, langkah-langkah penerapan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik, faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam implementasi pendekatan saintifik di SMA Negeri 9 Malang.
Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dimana data yang telah dihasilkan baik secara teoritis maupun empiris disajikan dalam bentuk kata-kata atau kalimat secara benar dan jelas sesuai dengan proses yang terjadi di lapangan. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian skripsi ini adalah: waka kurikulum, dan guru mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian metode kualitatif ini menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yaitu : 1) Wawancara, 2) Observasi, 3) Dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa dalam desain pembelajaran yang diterapkan di SMAN 9 Malang secara bertahap sudah menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, dimana pembelajaran lebih menekankan pada kemandirian siswa dengan memakai konsep pembelajaran yang meliputi komponen pendekatan saintifik yaitu mengamati, menanya, mencoba, mengolah, menyajikan, menyimpulkan, dan mencipta.
ABSTRACT
Scientific approach is the learning process that is designed so that learners are actively in constructing the concept, law or principle through the stages of observing, asking, reasoning, trying and communicating.
Based on this background, this study aims to determine the learning design using a scientific approach, implementation steps of the learning scientific approach, the supported factors, and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the scientific approach in SMAN 9 Malang.
The data analysis, researcher used a qualitative descriptive analysis, where the data have been generated both theoretically and empirically presented in the form of words or sentences correctly and clearly with the processes which was appropriate with the reality. There were the subjects of this research: vice chairman of curriculum, and teachers of economic subjects. This qualitative research method used three data collection techniques were: 1) Interviewing, 2) Observation, 3) Documentation.
The results of this research showed the learning process that is applied in SMAN 9 Malang has gradually been using a scientific approach, where the learning was more emphasizing toward student independence by using the concept of learning which was includes the scientific approach, there were in observation, asking, trying, reasoning, and communicating.
