Abstract
ABSTRAK
Problem Based Learning (PBL) merupakan proses pembelajaran yang titik awal pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dalam kehidupan nyata dan kemudian dari masalah ini siswa dirangsang untuk mempelajari masalah ini berdasarkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman baru. Dalam Proses pembelajaran guru dituntut untuk menguasai berbagai pendekatan, strategi dan model pembelajaran yang beragam. Model pembelajaran sosiologi yang terdapat dalam buku pelajaran sosiologi perlu diperkaya dengan model-model lain yang memberi nuansa baru, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi siswa. Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut perlu pembenahan serius untuk model pembelajaran sosiologi khususnya di MAN Mojosari. Metode pembelajaran yang cocok untuk pembenahan dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X-2 MAN Mojosari adalah dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem Based Learning).
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk; (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan metode problem based learning pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Mojosari. (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan penerapan metode problem based learning pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Mojosari.
Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian diatas, maka digunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berdasarkan observasi, evaluasi hasil belajar, wawancara, hasil tes, dokumentasi. Untuk indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah; (1) indikator kualitatif yakni engan melihat antusias siswa selama proses pemebelajaran dan umpan balik siswa stelah kegiatan pembelajaran berlagsung; (2) indikator kuantitatif yakni berdasarkan Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) mata pelajaran Sosiologi sebesar 76.
Dengan berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa; (1) perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode problem based learning(PBL) adalah dengan menyiapkan silabus pembelajaran, menyiapkan RPP dan media yang akan digunakan yakni media power point dan media artikel terkait permasalahan yang akan digunakan, lembar pedoman observasi penilaian aktivitas belajara siswa, dan alat dokumentasi serta menyiapkan soal yang sesuai dengan materi
pemebalajaran. (2) proses pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan tiga siklus atau 7x pertemuan dan masing-masing pertemuan berdurasi 90 menit (2JP X 45 menit). (3) hasil penilaian dengan menerapkan metode problem based learning (PBL) diperoleh dari teknik penilaian unjuk kerja (pre test dan post test). Dari hasil penilaian unjuk kerja bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat pada setiap siklusnya, yaitu pada pre test ke post test 1 sebesar 9,37%, pada post test 1 ke post test 2 sebesar 9,23% dan post test 2 ke post test 3 sebesar 2,03%. Dengan peningkatan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata siswa pada saat pre test 69,11, post test 1 dengan nilai rata-rata 75,59, post test 2 dengan nilai rata-rata 82,57, dan post test 3 dengan nilai rata-rata 84,25.
ABSTRACT
The Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning process based on the starting point of learning problems in real life and then this problem students are stimulated to study this problem is based on knowledge and new experiences. In the learning process teachers are required to master a variety of approaches, strategies and diverse learning models. Learning model sociology contained in sociology textbooks need to be enriched with other models that give a fresh new look, so as to improve students' communication competence. Based on the need to reform the serious exposure to models of learning, especially in State Islamic Senior High School Mojosari sociology. Learning methods are suitable for correction and improvement of student learning outcomes State Islamic Senior High School Mojosari class X-2 is to use problem-based learning method (Problem Based Learning).
The purpose of this study is to; (1) To describe the process of applying problem-based learning method in Sociology subjects to improve student learning outcomes of class X State Islamic Senior High School Mojosari. (2) To determine how the implementation of problem-based learning method in Sociology subjects to improve student learning outcomes of class X State Islamic Senior High School Mojosari.
To achieve the above research objectives, the study used a qualitative approach to the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques used were based on observation, evaluation of learning outcomes, interview, test results, documentation. For indicators of success in this study are; (1) qualitative indicator of the ith see enthusiastic students during the learning process and student feedback stelah learning activities take place; (2) a quantitative indicator of the completeness criterion based on the Minimum (KKM) Sociology by 76 subjects.
The results On the basis of that research; (1) planning learning by applying the method of problem-based learning (PBL) is a learning syllabus to prepare, prepare lesson plans and media that will be used the power point media and media-related issues that the article will be used, observation sheet assessment activity students learn some vital lessons, and tools documentation and prepare the matter in accordance with the learning material. (2) the implementation is done by three cycles or 7x meetings and each meeting lasted 90 minutes (2 hours x 45 minute lessons). (3) The results of the assessment by applying the method of
problem-based learning (PBL) obtained from the performance assessment techniques (pre-test and post-test). From the results of performance assessment that increases student learning outcomes at each cycle, namely the pre-test to post- test 1 was 9.37%, the post-test 1 to post-test 2 was 9.23% and post-test to post-test 2 of 3 2.03%. With the increase in value based on the average student at the time of 69.11 pre-test, post-test 1 with an average value of 75.59, post-test 2 with an average value of 82.57, and a post-test 3 with an average value of 84 , 25.
