Abstract
ABSTRAK
Profesionalisme guru merupakan kondisi, arah, nilai, tujuan dan kualitas suatu keahlian dan kewenangan dalam bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan seseorang yang menjadi mata pencaharian. Profesionalisme guru yang dimaksud dalam skripsi ini adalah guru mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan social yang professional. Kompetensi guru yang diteliti meliputi empat kategori. Pertama, kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan program belajar mengajar. Kedua, kemampuan guru dalam menguasai bahan pelajaran. Ketiga, kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan dan memimpin/mengelola proses belajar mengajar. Dan keempat, kemampuan guru dalam menilai kemajuan proses belajar mengajar. Prestasi belajar adalah hasil belajar yang dicapai setelah melalui proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Prestasi belajar siswa dapat ditunjukkan dalam bentuk nilai yang diberikan guru berupa raport yang merupakan hasil dari beberapa bidang studi yang telah dipelajari oleh peserta didik.
Dari paparan diatas terlihat bahwa profesionalisme guru berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat professional guru mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII RMBI dan Akselerasi, ada tidaknya pengaruh profesionalisme guru mata pelajaran IPS terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII RMBI dan Akselerasi MTsN Malang III, dan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh profesionalisme guru mata pelajaran IPS terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII RMBI dan Akselerasi MTsN Malang III.
Penelitian ini, kami menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu wawancara (Interview), Dokumentasi, Angket, dan Observasi. Setelah memperoleh data, peneliti menganalisis data melalui dua tahap. Tahap pertama yaitu Editing, Coding, Tabulasi, dan penerapan data sesuai dengan pendekatan penelitian. Tahapan kedua, yaitu dengan pengujian instrument melalui uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Selanjutnya dengan pengujian hipotesis melalui uji parsial (t) dan uji regresi linear sederhana.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa profesionalisme guru mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII RMBI dan Akselerasi di MTsN Malang III adalah sedang atau cukup. Selain itu, peneliti juga menemukan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII RMBI dan Akselerasi adalah baik atau sedang.
Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Untuk kelas VII RMBI Profesionalisme guru dapat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa hanya sebesar 9,9% dengan siginifikansi 0,154 > 0,05, dan untuk kelas VII Akselerasi Profesionalisme guru dapat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 19,3% dengan signifikansi 0,078 > 0,05. Sehingga Ha ditolak. Sedangkan dilihat secara keseluruhan Profesionalisme guru dapat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII RMBI dan Akselerasi sebesar 13,7% dengan signifikansi 0,020 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima.
ABSTRACT
Teacher professionalism represent condition, direction, value, target of and quality of an expertise and authority in the field of teaching and education related to work of someone becoming living. Such teacher professionalism in this thesis is teacher of social science subject that professional. As for professional teacher of itself is teacher which with quality, competence, and teacher desired to deliver learn achievement and also can influence learn-teach process to student, what later will yield better learn achievement student. Competences of teacher that observe cover four categories: first, ability of teacher in planning program learns to teach. Both, is ability of teacher in mastering lesson materials. Third, ability of teacher in executing and leading/ managing process learn to teach. Fourthly, ability of teacher in assessing progress of process learns to teach. Achievement learns is result learning reached after passing learn-teach activity process. Achievement learn student can be shown in the form of given by value is teacher in the form of report represent ing result of from some study area which have been studied by student.
From presentation above seen that teacher professionalism have an effect on to achievement learn. This research aim to know there is or do not it influence of professionalism of teacher subject of IPS to achievement learn class student of VII RMBI and of acceleration MTsN Malang III, and to know how big influence of professionalism of teacher subject of IPS to achievement learn class student of VII RMBI and of acceleration MTsN Malang III.
In this research used descriptive quantitative approach. Data collecting use some method that is interview, documentation, questionnaire, and observation. After obtaining data, researcher analyzes data through two phases. First phase, which is editing, coding, tabulation, and applying of data is such as according to approach of research. Second phase, that is with examination is of instrument through validity test and test of reliabilities. Hereinafter, is with examination of hypothesis through test of partial (t) and of simple regression linear.
Pursuant to result of research that professionalism of teacher subject of IPS class of VII RMBI and of acceleration in MTsN Malang III is adequate or is good enough. Ability of teacher professional subject of IPS depicted ably master study area seen from background education of teacher owning academic qualification and teacher teach as according to owned majors and expertise it, ability comprehend student, ability master educative study through ability comprehend subject type, organizational of Lesson items and also used of is source of learning, but in subject teacher of IPS class of VII RMBI and of acceleration in Iesson items organization and also used of is source of learning still less. Besides, researcher also find that learn achievement class student of VII RMBI and of acceleration is good or middle.
Result of research express that "influence of professionalism of teacher subject of IPS to learn achievement student for the class of VII RMBI shown with R square 0,099 or only equal to 9,9% with significance 0,154 > 0,05 is so that told do not significant. And for the class of VII acceleration shown with R square 0,193 or only equal to 19,3% with significance 0,078 > 0,05 so that is also told do not significant. While as a whole "influence of professionalism of teacher subject of IPS to learn achievement class student of VII RMBI and of acceleration MTsN Malang III shown with R square 0,137 or equal to 13,7% with significance 0,020 < 0,05 so that Is ha accepted.
