Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pembelajaran IPS di SMP sangat penting bagi siswa. Diharapkan para siswa SMP dapat menguasai mata pelajaran IPS yang sesuai dengan tujuan mempelajari mata pelajaran IPS. Cara belajar IPS, sewaktu akan belajar IPS otak harus dalam keadaan fresh, Saat membaca IPS usahakan mencatat poin-poin penting, saat di kelas perhatikan penjelasan tentang materi IPS dari guru dan rajin bertanya.
Nilai ulangan harian yang diperoleh siswa kelas VII A SMP di Pasuruan ini kurang memuaskan disebabkan karena siswa kurang menguasai konsep-konsep materi yang ada pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu yang telah dipelajari atau kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang telah diajarkan. Serta tingkat kreativitas siswa dalam mencatat konsep penting yang terdapat pada isi materi IPS Terpadu masih kurang memuaskan, catatan siswa cenderung masih membosankan. Berangkat dari latar belakang itulah penulis kemudian ingin membahasnya dalam skripsi dan mengambil judul penerapan model mind map untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar IPS Terpadu pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Walisongo Gempol Pasuruan.
Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan model mind map untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar IPS Terpadu pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Walisongo Gempol di Pasuruan; (2) untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan model mind map untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar IPS Terpadu pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Walisongo Gempol di Pasuruan; (3) untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penilaian pembelajaran model mind map untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi IPS Terpadu belajar pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Walisongo Gempol di Pasuruan.
Penelitian yang penulis lakukan ini adalah termasuk dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Dalam perjalanan mengumpulkan data, penulis menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk analisisnya, penulis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang penulis peroleh selama melakukan pengamatan langsung di lapangan.
Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya model belajar yang penulis tawarkan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar IPS Terpadu pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Walisongo Gempol Pasuruan (1) pada perencanaan model mengacu pada RRP yang telah dirancang, pelaksanaan model sesuai dengan RPP yang telah dirancang secara kolaborasi bersama ibu Vivi Rianti selaku guru IPS Terpadu kelas VII A; (2) pada pelaksanaan dapat berjalan lancar, pelaksanaan model mind map merupakan pengalaman baru bagi guru dan siswa dan mind map telah memberi beberapa manfaat bagi siswa dan guru dalam belajar, manfaat mind map yang diperoleh antara lain: siswa menjadi semangat belajar, siswa mudah mengingat pelajaran dan siswa memperoleh pengalaman menggambar dan guru lebih mudah menjelaskan materi pelajaran pada siswa; (3) pada penilaian, dari data secara kuantitatif perolehan skor dalam prestasi belajar dan kreativitas siswa memperoleh nilai yang cukup tinggi.
ABSTRACT
Learning social studies in secondary schools is very important for students. It is expected that junior high students can master the subjects in accordance with IPS that the purpose of studying social science subjects. How to learn to IPS, IPS will learn when the brain must be in fresh condition, we try to read the social sciences recorded the important points, while in social studies class notes from the teachers' explanations about the materials and ask diligently.
Daily Replay value obtained by the students of class VII A junior in Pasuruan is less satisfactory because the students did not master the concept of matter that existed at the Integrated Social Science subjects has been learned or a lack of understanding of the material that students have been taught. And the level of student creativity in recording important concepts contained in the contents of the Integrated Social Sciences is still less satisfactory, students can record still boring. Departure from the background writer and then want to talk about in the papers and take the title of the application of mind mapping model to enhance creativity and learning achievement of the Integrated Social Science at the junior high school students grade Walisongo Next page A VII.
The purpose of this study were (1) to describe of planning models to improve the creativity of the mind map and academic achievement Integrated Social Science at the junior high school students of class VII A Walisongo Gempol in Pasuruan, (2) to describe of implementing the model of mind maps to enhance creativity and achievement Integrated studies of social learning on junior high students of class VII A Walisongo Gempol in Pasuruan, (3) to describe outcome assessments mind map learning model to foster creativity and learning achievement in Integrated IPS junior high school students of class VII A Walisongo Gempol in Pasuruan.
Research by the authors included in class-action research (CAR). In the data collection activities, the author uses interview, observation, tests and documentation. While for the analysis, the authors used a qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, namely the form of qualitative data and quantitative data obtained during observations the author directly.
Finding indicate that the author offers a model of creativity and learning can improve academic achievement in social studies class VII A Junior Integrated Walisongo Next page (1) in the planning model refers to the RRP which has been designed, in accordance with the implementation of the RPP model that has been designed in collaboration with her mother Vivi Rianti Integrated social studies teacher Class VII A, (2) the implementation goes smoothly, the mind map is an implementation model of a new experience for both teachers and students and a mind map has provided some benefits for students and teachers in learning, the benefits of mind maps obtained include: students into the spirit of learning, students are easy to remember the lessons and experiences for the benefit of students and teachers of the subject matter easier to explain to the students, (3) in the assessment, from the quantitative data acquisition and academic achievement scores in the creativity of students receiving grades high enough.
