Abstract

INDONESIA:

Pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Dasar merupakan pondasi awal bagi pembentukan karakter suatu bangsa. Rentannya pendidikan karakter saat ini sangat meresahkan orang tua dan juga pendidikan secara Nasional. Pendidikan di Ummu Aiman telah menerapkan pendidikan karakter melalui rangkaian kegiatan keagamaan yang diadakan disekolah. Kegiatan keagamaan di SD Ummu Aiman dilaksanakan sebagai upaya pelaksanaan program sekolah yakni membentuk karakter peserta didik yang Islami, sebagai insan yang berdaya saing juga sebagai siswa yang berbudi luhur. Tujuan diterapkannnya pendidikan karakter diSD Ummu Aiman ini sebagai jawaban atas keresahan orang tua dan juga pendidikan secara global sebagai keberhasilan pembentukn karakter bangsa. Di SD Ummu Aiman sendiri menerapkan pembiasaan sebagai cara penanaman karakter siswa. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka permasalahan yang dapat dirumuskan adalah a) bagaimana penerapan pendidikan karakter di SD Ummu Aiman? b) apa saja kendala dan solusi yag dihadapai dalam pelaksanaan penanaman pendidikan karakter disekolah? c) apa saja nilai pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan di SD Ummu Aiman? Tujuan diadakannya penelitan ini merupakan langkah awal dan sebagai tolak ukur sekolah untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan, dan juga mengetahui apa saja strategi yang diterapkan dalam proses pembentukan karakter siswa.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model Milles and Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) proses pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan disekolah dilaksakan dengan menggunakan metode pembiasaan yang dilakukan secara terus menerus dan juga terstruktur. (2) Faktor penghambat dari pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan ini adalah kurangnya disipin bagi sebagian siswa yang tidak menerapkan pembisaan tersebut dirumah, (3) Nilai karakter yang ditanamkan disekolah meliputi nilai disiplin, jujur, tanggung jawab, sopan dan santun, ikhlas, dan juga karakter toleransi.

Dari faktor penghambatan tersebut dapat dirumuskan beberapa saran yang ditujukan pada pihak sekolah maupun orang tua. Diantaranya pihak sekolah harusnya selalu memberi semangat dalam melaksanakan penanaman karakter siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan tidak ada hentinya memantau perkembangan siswa. Begitupula dengan orang tua, hendaknya selalu memantau pelaksanaan kegiatan anak-anaknya yang berbasis pembiasaan. Agar apa yang telah dipelajari oleh anak-anaknya bisa dibiasakan setiap hari dan kemudian membentuk karakter sesuai dengan harapan sekolah dan keluarga.

ENGLISH:

Character education in primary school is the Foundation for the formation of the character of a nation. The vulnerable character education is at present very troubling old people and also education nationally. Education in Ummu Aiman has implemented a character education through a series of organized religious activities in schools. Religious activities in SD Ummu Aiman was implemented as an attempt of implementing school programs namely forming the character of learners who are Islamic student, as an empowered employee competitiveness as well as students who are virtuous. The goal of character education in elementary applied Ummu Aiman as the answer to the anxiety of parents and also education globally as the success of the pembentukn character of the nation. Ummu Aiman in SD itself apply conditioning as a way of cultivation of the character of students. Based on the description of the problems that can be formulated is a) how implementation of character education in the primary to Ummu Aiman? b) what are the obstacles and solutions in the implementation of facing that the planting of character education in schools? c) what are the educational value of the characters embedded in SD Ummu Aiman? The purpose of this study was the holding of the first step and as a benchmark for the performance of the religious activities of the school, and also find out what the strategies are applied in the process of the formation of the character of students.

Type of this research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed by using model Milles and Huberman, namely the reduction of data, display data, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. Techniques of examination of the validity of the data by source and triangulation techniques.

The research results showed that: (1) the process of the implementation of religious activity in schools implemented by using a method of conditioning that is conducted continuously and well structured. (2) the factors restricting implementation of this religious activities is the lack of discipline for some students who do not apply the conditioning at home, (3) the value of the character is embedded in schools include the value of discipline, honesty, responsibility, courteous and polite, sincere, and also the character of tolerance.

From the inhibition of factor can be formulated some suggestions aimed at school parties as well as the elderly. Include the school should always give morale in carrying out cultivation of the student's character is shown with no stopping monitoring the development of the students. Parents should always monitor the implementation activities of the children’s based conditioning. So what has been learned by his sons could be conditioned daily and then formed characters in accordance with the expectations of the school and the family.
