Abstract

ABSTRAK

Pendidikan seharusnya bisa mengembangkan kemampuan dan membentuk watak serta peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, serta untuk berkembangnya potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri dan menjadi warga negara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab. Dengan demikian, pendidikan mempunyai peran yang strategis dalam membangun karakter siswa. Penanaman budaya dan karakter bangsa dapat diintegrasikan melalui mata pelajaran, pengembangan diri, dan budaya sekolah. Dalam hal ini, SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang berupaya melaksanakan internalisasi pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter siswa melalui budaya sekolah.

Adapun fokus penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Bagaimana strategi dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang. (2) Apa faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa fenomena, peristiwa, aktivitas sosial, sikap, kepercayaan, persepsi, pemikiran orang secara individual maupun kelompok, sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sedangkan desain yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.

Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa, strategi dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SD Al-Kautsar Malang melalui 10 budaya sekolah, budaya sekolah tersebut meliputi: budaya 5S, budaya baca sholawat (berbaris menuju kelas usai upacara bendera, berjalan menuju mushola ketika melakukan sholat berjamaah), lantunan asmaul husna, sholat berjamaah, fikih Nisa`, pemberian pin “kejujuran, kedisiplinan”, penguburan akhlak buruk, jumat bersih, takjil gratis, dan amal jumat sedangkan faktor pendorong dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter mealui budaya sekolah adanya partisipasi secara aktif oleh siswa dan guru dalam melaksanakan segala bentuk budaya sekolah, dan faktor penghambat dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter mealui budaya sekolah adanya siswa yang kurang berpartisipasi terhadap segala bentuk kegiatan budaya sekolah.

ABSTRACT

Education should be able to develop skills and form the character and civilization of the nation's dignity in the context of the intellectual life of the nation, as well as for the development of potential learners in order to become a people who is faithful and devoted to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent and become citizens of a democratic and responsible. Thus, education has a strategic role in building students' character. Culture and national character implementation can be integrated through the lessons, self-development, and school culture. In this case, the SD Plus Al Kautsar Malang attemts to implement the internalization of values character formation of the students through the school culture.

The focus of this study are: (1) How does the strategy in instilling character values through the school culture in SD Plus Al Kautsar Malang. (2) What are the stimulant and inhibitors factor which is instilling character values through the school culture in SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang. This study aims to describe and analyze phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually or in groups, so this study used a qualitative approach. While the design used is a case study. The methods of data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation.

The result of this study, the researcher can do the conclusion that the strategy in instilling character values through the school culture in SD Al Kautsar Malang through 10 school culture, those are: 5S culture, reading sholawat culture, (it is read while student walks to come into the mousque for praying), asma’ul husnah and Islamic songs while in breaking time or in the time of changing lesson turns, jama’ah prayer in dhuha, dhuhur, and jum’ah (especially for men), fiqih nisa’ (for girls), giving the "Honesty” and “Discipline" pin, the burial of bad morals, Friday’s cleanliness, free takjil, and Friday charity. Afterwards, the driving factor in instilling the values of the character through school culture is the participation of students and teachers in carrying out any kind of school culture it self. While inhibiting factor in instilling the values of the school culture through school character is coused of lack of students participation in any forms of cultural activity school.
