Abstract

ABSTRAK

Pendidikan pada hakekatnya adalah mengembangkan potensi diri peserta didik menjadi kemampuan yang dilandasi oleh keimanan, ketaqwaan, kepribadian, akhlak mulia, dan kemandirian. Dengan demikian, pendidikan mempunyai peran yang strategis dalam membangun karakter siswa. Penanaman budaya dan karakter bangsa dapat diintegrasikan melalui mata pelajaran, pengembangan diri, dan budaya sekolah. Dalam hal ini, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almaarif 02 Singosari berupaya melaksanakan internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter siswa melalui kegiatan pengembangan diri, yaitu melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka.

Adapun fokus penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang diinternalisasikan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almaarif 02 Singosari. (2) Bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan inti dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka sebagai sarana internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almaarif 02 Singosari. (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almaarif 02 Singosari.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa fenomena, peristiwa, aktivitas sosial, sikap, kepercayaan, persepsi, pemikiran orang secara individual maupun kelompok, sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sedangkan desain yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah analisis data model Miles and Huberman melalui: reduksi data, display/penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data.

Dari tahap-tahap yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Dasa Darma diantaranya digunakan untuk membentuk karakter siswa, terutama melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almaarif 02 Singosari. (2) Kegiatan inti dilakukan melalui metode pemberian contoh, kegiatan yang menyenangkan dan pembelajaran yang melibatkan pada siswa. (3) Faktor pendukung diantaranya: lingkungan yang religius, dukungan dari pihak madrasah, latar belakang siswa dilihat dari faktor keluarga atau berasal dari TK Almaarif sendiri, hampir 30% dari keseluruhan siswa bertempat di pondok pesantren dan pelatih yang mumpuni. Adapun faktor penghambatnya yaitu: tidak adanya komunikasi dengan Kamabiran, minimnya jumlah pelatih, belum tersedianya sanggar serta buku panduan khusus kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka, faktor siswa dikarenakan pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka bentrok dengan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler lain, serta kurangnya dukungan dari keluarga.

ABSTRACT

Education is essentially self-potential students developing a capability which is based on faith, devotion, personality, noble character, and independence. Thus, education has a strategic role in building students character. Planting culture and national character can be integrated through the subjects, self-development, and school culture. In this case, Islamic elementary schools Almaarif 02 Singosari attempt to implement internalizing the character values of students through self- development activities, namely through the Scouts of extracurricular activities.

The focus of this study are: (1) These values are internalized character through extracurricular Scouts activities in the Islamic elementary schools Almaarif 02 Singosari. (2) The implementation of the core activities of the Boy Scouts of extracurricular activities as a means of internalizing the character values of students in Islamic elementary Almaarif 02 Singosari. (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors in the internalization process of character values of students through extracurricular Scouts activities in the Islamic elementary schools Almaarif 02 Singosari.

This study aims to describe and analyze phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually or in groups, so this study used a qualitative approach. While the design used is a case study. Methods of data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis’s steps data of Miles and Huberman model through: data reduction, display/presentation of data, drawing conclusions and data verification.

Of the stages that have been done, it can be seen the results of the study are: (1) The values contained in Dasa Darma of them are used to shape the character of students, especially through the scouting extracurricular activities in the Islamic elementary Almaarif 02 Singosari. (2) Activities conducted with the main core of fun activities and learning or implementation activities involve students. (3) Supporting factors include: the religious environment, support from the Islamic school parties, the background of the students who viewed the family factor or derived from TK Almaarif own, nearly 30% of the students housed in boarding school, and a qualified trainers. The inhibiting factors are: lack of communication with Kamabiran, inadequate number of trainers, studio and the unavailability of specialized guidebooks Scouts extracurricular activities, a factor due to the implementation of the student extracurricular activities Scouts who clashed with other extracurricular activities, and lack of support from family.
