Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pembelajaran Multimedia berbasis CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) merupakan suatu proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan berbantuan komputer serta mengabungkan media gambar, gambar bergerak (animasi), video, suara maupun teks berjalan, sehingga pembelajaran tidak akan terkesan monoton.
Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah di atas maka permasalahan yang timbul adalah:(1) Bagaimana proses merencanakan Pembelajaran Multimedia berbasis CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas VI MIN Kauman Utara Jombang? (2) Bagaimana proses melaksanakan pembelajaran multimedia berbasis CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas VI MIN Kauman Utara Jombang? dan (3) Bagaimana proses mengevaluasi pembelajaran multimedia berbasis CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas VI MIN Kauman Utara Jombang?
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, sehingga peneliti mengadakan penelitian dengan menggunakann desain penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian PTK ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis kolaboratif partisipatoris. Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini antara lain: 1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan dan (4) refleksi.
Hasil analisis data, menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran multimedia berbasis CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman materi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas VI MIN Kauman Utara Jombang. Dengan sangat antusias siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, begitu juga dari hasil evaluasi pembelajaran diatas yang merupakan indikator pemahaman siswa dalam belajar dapat berjalan dengan baik, terbukti prosentase pemahaman siswa mulai dari pre tes, siklus I sampai siklus II mengalami peningkatan mulai dari 27,3 % menjadi 57.57% dan menjadi 78.79% dan rata-rata nilai juga mengalami peningkatan dari 58.9, menjadi 66.1 dan menjadi 73.63, dari data diatas telah mencapai 70 % dari standar minimal siswa dikatakan paham dalam satu kelas.
ABSTRACT
Multimedia learning-based on CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) isa learning process that done by using computer aided and colaborating imageinationmedia, moving imageination (animation), video, moving sound and text, so that learning will not be impressed monotonous. The implementation of CAI, the lesson of social science needs to require some real concepts from another abstract concept, so that the ultimedia learning-based on CAI is able to increasing the understanding of learning materials on the subjects in the sixth grade social studies in MIN North KaumanJombang.
Based on the background above, the problems that arise are: (1) How to plan multimedia learning-based on CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) in increasing the understanding of learning materials on the subjects in the sixth grade social studies in MIN North KaumanJombang? (2) How to implement multimedia learning process-based on CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) in increasing the understanding of learning materials on the subjects in the sixth grade social studies in MIN North KaumanJombang? and (3) How to evaluate the process of multimedia learning-based on CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) in increasing students' understanding of the material on the subjects in the sixth grade social studies in MIN North KaumanJombang?
The purpose of this research is to find solutions from the problems above, so that the researcher conducted to research by usingdesign classroom action research (PTK).The research of PTKis included in the data of descriptive qualitative by colaboration participatories. The sequence of this research include: 1) planning, (2) actuating, (3) observation and (4) reflection.
Data analysis shows that the application of multimedia learning-based on CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) is able to enhance students' understanding of the material on the subjects in the sixth grade social studies MIN North KaumanJombang. with great enthusiasm in participating in student learning, as well as learning from the evaluation results above which is an indicator of student understanding in learning to work well, as evidenced percentage of students ranging from pre-comprehension test, the cycle I to cycle II has increased from 27.3% to 57.57% and to 78.79% and the average value also increased from 58.9, to 66.1 and a 73.63, from the data above has reached 70% of the minimum standard is said to understand students in one class.
