Psikodinamika pelaku bullying pada salah satu SMA di kota Malang

ABSTRACT

Bullying in many kinds showed too subtle pattern. Bullying among school- aged youth is increasingly it`s sign a problem in youth peers relation, affecting well-being, and social functioning. Bullying behavior occurs in many areas of social life, including school, the family and the workplace. Malang, known as pupil`s city was identified some bullying in some school.

The goals of this study was assess the shape of bullying, and the psychodynamic of bullying behavior as bully of student of senior high school X at Malang.

Stephenson and Smith describe bullying as a form of social interaction whereby a dominant individual exhibits aggressive behavior with the intention of causing distress to a less dominant individual.

Taking sample by purposive and snow ball.Participants of 15 students were interviewed using questions about bullying that asked participants the frequency with which they bullied others in school and away from school during the current term. After interviewing some students, continued by cross check the counselor, to determine fixed participants. Participants were 2 student of Senior High School and 1 counselor of Senior High School as gatekeeper ,all of them were male. Data were analysis by interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). IPA was explored how participants view the meaning of personal world and their social world trough their perception and their insight of small group.

Result of this research was found that bullying take formed verbal contact directly, physical contact directly, bullying behavior cause of negative seeing of own self, negative label from others, bully as victim of bullying (being bullied) or watch the bullying, supported by peers. This result has recommended to possible intervention strategies on counseling of children being bullied or children who has bully, and to designed learning of education free from bullying.
