Interpretasi bawah permukaan pasca erupsi Gunung Merapi tahun 2020 menggunakan data gravity

ABSTRAK

Erupsi yang ditimbulkan akibat peningkatan aktivitas vulkanik Gunung Merapi. Menyebabkan material batuan yang berada disekitar kantong magma mengalami proses intrusi dan ekstrusi melalui pipa saluran magma. Peristiwa tersebut sering terjadi dalam kurun waktu beberapa tahun belakang ini. Erupsi yang terjadi di Gunung Merapi menyebabkan dampak yang merugikan bagi lingkungan dan masyarakat, oleh sebab itu perlu adanya kajian terkait Gunung Merapi. Pengkajian tersebut telah dilakukan oleh beberapa penelitian terdahulu. Meskipun telah dilakukan oleh peneliti terdahulu, adanya rentang jarak waktu antara penelitian dengan erupsi yang terjadi, maka perlu dilakukan kajian ulang. Dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengkaji ulang Gunung Merapi dengan tujuan mengetahui struktur bawah permukaan, dan posisi kantong magma.

ABSTRACT

Eruptions brought on by Mount Merapi's heightened volcanic activity. It induces the intrusion and extrusion of processes in the surrounding rock material through the magma conduit. Over the previous few years, these occurrences have become frequent. There must be research on Mount Merapi because the eruption that happened there had a negative influence on both the environment and people. Several earlier studies have conducted this study. It has to be reexamined despite the fact that it has already been done by other academics because there was a gap in time between the study and the eruption. In order to understand the subsurface structure and the location of the magma pockets, a review of Mount Merapi was done for this study.
