Abstract

ABSTRAK

Pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) yang telah diselenggarakan di sekolah, baik itu tingkat dasar, menengah maupun perguruan tinggi selama ini memiliki beberapa hambatan atau kendala yang menyebabkan pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) dinilai kurang maksimal di dalam memberikan kontribusi positif bagi terbentuknya karakter peserta didik menuju masa depannya. Salah satu hambatan atau kendala yang dirasakan khususnya oleh pendidik ialah jam pelajaran PAI yang hanya dua jam saja dalam setiap minggunya. Hal ini menyebabkan frekuensi pertemuan guru untuk memberikan pendidikan, arahan, bimbingan kepada anak didik begitu keci. Sedangkan kondisi lingkungan yang semakin besar pengaruhnya dari perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang mampu mengikis nilai-nilai positif yang telah tertanam pada diri peserta didik. Kondisi tersebut membutuhkan perhatian khusus bagi seluruh komponen sekolah khususnya guru pendidika agama islam. sehingga diperlukannya upaya khusus untuk penanaman nilai-nilai positif tentang kebudayaan agama islam secara kuat menancap pada diri peserta didik. Sehingga peserta didik mempunyai tameng dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi dan informasi serta mampu menyeleksi kebudayaan yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai agama dan budaya yang negatif.

Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, permasalah yang akan penulis angkat adalah upaya yang dilakukan guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam penciptaan religious culture di SMP Negeri 2 Batu. dengan rumusan masalah 1. Kondisi atau keadaan religious culture di SMP Negeri 2 Batu, 2. Upaya guru pendidikan islam dalam penciptaan religious culture di SMP Negeri 2 Batu, 3. Factor pendukung dan penghambat dalam upaya penciptaan religious culture di SMP Negeri 2 Batu.

Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu
penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Selama penelitian berlangsung, peneliti memperoleh temuan mengenai kondisi religious culture di SMP Negeri 2 Batu, kegiatan keagamaan sebagai upaya penciptaan religius culture yang dilakukan oleh guru pendidikan agama Islam dan faktor penghambat maupun pendukung dari upaya penciptaan religious culture di SMP Negeri 2 Batu. setelah di lakukan triangulasi dan analisi data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi religious culture di SMP Negeri
2 Batu cukup baik, hal ini disebabkan tidak semua unsur dari komponen sekolah (seperti kepala sekolah, guru pendidikan agama Islam, guru mata pelajaran non pendidikan Islam serta peserta didik) perperan secara maksimal.

Dalam upaya penciptaan religious culture di SMP Negeri 2 BAtu diwujudkan dengan kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan, yaitu meliputi: salat berjamaah, bimbingan baca tulis Al-Qur’an, kegiatan pondok ramadhan, shalat jum’at berjama’ah, peringatan hari besar islam (PHBI) dll. Dan dalam pelaksanaannya dari kegiatan kegamaan tersebut cukup baik.Faktor hambatan yang dialami oleh guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam upaya penciptaan religious culture yakni kurangnya jam pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, kurangnya kesadaran beragama pada diri peserta didik serta adanya pegaruh negatif dari perkembangan teknologi dan informasi. Faktor pendukungnya adalah mendapatkan dukungan dari seluruh warga sekolah, sarana prasarana yang memadai dan jumlah tenaga pendidik agama islam yang berjumlah empat orang sehingga segala kegiatan yang telah diprogramkan mampu berjalan dengan baik.

ABSTRACT

Islamic religious education (PAI), which was held at the school, whether elementary, secondary and higher education so far have several resistance or obstacles that lead to Islamic religious education (PAI) were considered less than the maximum in the positive contribution to the character formation of students toward its future. One of the resistance or obstacles perceived by educators is particularly PAI-hour lessons those only two hours in each week. This causes the frequency of meetings of teachers to provide education, referrals, guidance to students so little. While the environmental conditions that the greater the impact of technological developments and information that could erode the positive values that have been embedded in self-learners. These conditions require special attention to all components of the school especially the Islamic religion edication teacher. So its need special efforts for the cultivation of positive values of the culture of Islamic religion strongly embedded in self-learners. So that learners have a shield in the face of technological developments and information and capable of selecting an appropriate culture with religious values and culture negative.

Based on the above background, problems that will lift up by the writer are the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in the creation of religious culture in State Junior High School 2 of Batu. With the formulation of problem 1. Religious culture conditions or circumstances on State Junior High School 2 of Batu, 2. The efforts of Islamic education teachers in the creation of religious culture in the State Junior High School 2 of Batu. 3. Supporting factors and obstacles in efforts to create religious culture in State Junior High School 2 of Batu. The research methodology used by researchers in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method of data collection is interviews, observation and documentation. During the study, researchers obtained findings on the condition of religious culture in State Junior High School 2 of Batu, religious activity as an effort to create a religious culture by the Islamic religion teacher and inhibiting factors as well as supporters of efforts to create religious culture in State Junior High School 2 of Batu. After doing triangulation and data analysis can be concluded that the condition of religious culture in State Junior High School 2 of Batu is quite good, this is because not all elements of school components (such as principals, teachers of Islamic religious education, non-subject teachers and students of Islamic education) worked maximum.

In the creation efforts of religious culture in the Junior Country 2 Batu realized with religious activities, which include prayers, reading and writing tuition Qur’an, Ramadan cottage activities, Friday prayers together, the anniversary of Islam (PHBI) etc. And in the implementation of activities is adequate good enough. Religious resistance factor experienced by teachers of Islamic religious education in religious culture creation efforts is the lack of teaching time of Islamic religious education lessons, a lack of religious awareness on self-learners and the presence of negative influence of development and information technology. Supporting factor is getting support from all member schools, adequate infrastructure and the number of Islamic religious teachers, amounting to four people so that all the activities that have been programmed able to run well.
