Implementasi metode the power of two dalam pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas VIII C SMP Islam Almaarif 01 Singosari Malang

ABSTRAK

Cita-cita luhur para tokoh bangsa pejuang negara Indonesia adalah mewujudkan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya lahir dan batin. Pemerintah melalui PP Nomor 55 Tahun 2007 tentang Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Keagamaan, pada bab II pasal 2 dinyatakan bahwa pendidikan agama berfungsi membentuk manusia Indonesia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta berakhak mulia dan mampu menjaga kedamaian dan kerukunan hubungan antar umat beragama dan pendidikan agama.

Berdasarkan dari kenyataan yang ada pada dunia pendidikan, bahwasanya pendidikan agama kurang maksimal yang menjadikan generasi-generasi muda pada saat ini menjadi tidak terkontrol, sehingga yang melatar belakangi penulis untuk menerapkan metode The Power of Two untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dalam penelitian ini dapat dirumuskan (1) Bagaimana proses Implementasi metode The Power of Two. (2) Bagaimanakah motivasi belajar siswa dengan penerapan metode The Power of Two.Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu, (1) mengetahui proses penerapan The Power of Two. (2) mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa dengan metode The Power of Two.

Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi (1) Pendekatan dan Jenis Penelitian: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan jenis penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, pendekatan ini digunakan untuk menelusuri dari proses pembelajaran upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. (2) Pengumpulan data: Teknik Observasi, Teknik Interview, dan Teknik Dokumentasi. (3) Teknik Analisa Data: Untuk menganalisa data yang bersifat kualitatif penulis menggunakan tekhnik analisa deskriptif. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Guru mata pelajaran Aqidah- Akhlak dan siswa kelas VIII C SMP Islam Almaarif 01 Singosari Malang.

Hasil penelitian dari penerapan metode The Power of Two ini tidak bisa dilihat dengan satu/dua siklus saja, akan tetapi empat siklus atau lebih, karena proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan proses kemampuan siswa. Selama empat siklus, peneliti berhasil membangun motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Berdasarkan dari rata-rata nilai yang dijadikan tolak ukur oleh peneliti adalah 90. Ternyata dari
42 siswa /21 kelompok, tidak ada yang mendapatkan nilai dibawah rata-rata. 3 kelompok/6 siswa mendapatkan nilai 90. Dan yang mendapatkan nilai diatas rata- rata sebanyak 18 kelompok/36 siswa. Berdasarkan dari hasil nilai kerja kelompok siswa, proses pembelajaran dengan metode The Power of Two berhasil diterapkan untuk membangun motivasi belajar siswa di kelas VIII C SMP Islam Almaarif 01
Singosari Malang, bidang studi Aqidah-Akhlak.

ABSTRACT

Noble ideals of the warrior leaders of Indonesia Indonesia is to realize fully human and unseen. Government through the Government Regulation Number 55 Year 2007 on Religious Education and Religious Education, in Section II, Article 2 states that the human form of religious education serves Indonesia who believe and fear of God Almighty and behave noble and able to maintain peace and communal harmony and inter-religious relations religious education.

Based on the fact that there is on education, religious education that makes less than the maximum that younger generations do not currently be controlled, so that the background for the authors to apply the method of The Power of Two to enhance students motivation. In this research can be formulated (1) How does the process of implementation of the method The Power of Two. (2) How does students motivation to the application of the method The Power of Two. This research has the objective is, (1) know the process of implementation of The Power of Two. (2) know the students motivation by the method of The Power of Two.

The method applied in this research include (1) The approach and type of research: This research was carried out with the kind of research Classroom Action Research (PTK) and using a qualitative descriptive approach, this approach is used to track the learning process of an effort to increase students motivation. (2) Data collection: Observation Techniques, Interview Techniques, and Technical Documentation. (3) Techniques of Data Analysis: To analyze the qualitative data analysis techniques author uses descriptive. Sources of data from this research is teacher-subjects Aqidah-Akhlak and class VIII C Student Islamic School Almaarif 01 Singosari Malang.

The results of the implementation of The Power of Two method can not be seen with one/two cycles only, but four cycles or more, because the process of learning to walk with the students ability. For four cycles, the researchers managed to build motivation in learning. Based on the average of the benchmark value by the researchers was 90. Turns of 42 students / 21 group, no one scored below average. Group 3/6 students scored 90. And that scored above the average of 18 kelompok/36 students. Based on the results of the working groups of students, the learning process by the method of The Power of Two successfully applied to build motivation to learn in class VIII C Student Islamic School Almaarif 01 Singosari Malang, field of study Aqidah-Akhlak.
