Abstract
ABSTRAK
Proses pembelajaran dialami sepanjang hayat seorang manusia serta dapat berlaku dimanapun. Dalam konteks pendidikan, guru mengajar mempunyai tujuan agar siswa dapat belajar dan menguasai pelajaran dengan baik. Penelitian tindakan kelas diangkat menjadi bahan penelitian berangkat dari latar belakang perlunya diadakan pembaharuan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas mengajar guru dalam pengelolaan proses pembelajaran sebagai respon semakin melemahnya kualitas belajar siswa. Dimana sebagian besar guru masih melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional. Keadaan tersebut jelas akan berdampak kepada pembelajaran di dalam kelas, seperti kejenuhan serta penurunan motivasi belajar siswa.
Berdasarkan uraian di atas, melalui penelitian tindakan kelas diharapkan guru mampu memainkan peran sebagai inovator pembelajaran. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat oleh peneliti dalam penelitian tindakan kelas meliputi tiga aspek, yaitu meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian strategi role playing dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar pendidikan agama Islam kelas VII D SMP Negeri 2
Batu.
Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, sebab dalam melakukan tindakan kepada subyek penelitian yang sangat diutamakan adalah mengungkap makna. Sementara desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Sifat penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah kolaboratif partisipatoris, yaitu kerjasama antara peneliti dengan praktisi di lapangan (guru).
Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti, dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1. Perencanaan penelitian tindakan kelas meliputi dua aspek, yaitu perencanaan kelas dan perencanaan luar kelas. Perencanan kelas berupa setting kelas, menyiapkan mental siswa, dan menyiapkan alat yang dibutuhkan dalam pelaksanaan role playing. Sedangkan perencanaan luar kelas berupa penyusunan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penetapan materi pembelajaran, dan menyiapkan lembar observasi. 2. Pelaksanaan role playing dengan materi perilaku terpuji terlaksana dengan baik. Siklus pertama, materi yang dibahas adalah tekun dan ulet. Siklus kedua membahas mengenai sifat teliti. Siklus ketiga membahas tema kerja keras. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus. 3. Pelaksanaan penilaian dengan role playing dilakukan berdasarkan pada lembar observasi, dan dari hasil penilaian post- test.
Apabila dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, role playing memiliki keunggulan. Dimana ketika menggunakan metode konvensional, suasana kelas kurang kondusif. Berbeda setelah role playing diterapkan, secara bertahap keadaan-keadaan tersebut dapat teratasi dengan baik. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran role playing dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar pendidikan agama Islam kelas VII D SMP Negeri 2 Batu. Dengan indikator keberhasilan antara lain: 1. Siswa mempunyai rasa tertarik terhadap pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, 2. Siswa mempunyai harapan masa depan, 3. Siswa semangat dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar, dan 4. Lingkungan kelas menjadi lebih kondusif.
ABSTRACT
Lifelong learning process experienced by a human and can apply anywhere. In the context of education, teachers' teaching has a target to enable students for learning and mastering the lesson well. Classroom action research was appointed as research material departure from the background of the need for renewal is held in increasing the creativity of teachers to teach in the management of the learning process as a response to the weakening of the quality of student learning. Where most teachers are still carrying out learning with conventional learning approaches. These circumstances would clearly have an impact on learning in the classroom, such as saturation and decrease in motivation to study.
Based on the description above, through action research classroom teachers are expected to be able to play a role as an innovator of learning. The formulation of the issues raised by researchers in studies class action covers three aspects, which include planning, implementation, and assessment of role playing strategies to improve learning motivation of Islamic religious education class VII D of Junior High School Public 2 Batu.
The approach used is qualitative research approach, because in taking action to research subjects are highly preferred is to reveal the meaning. While the research design used in the classroom action research. The nature of classroom action research conducted by researchers is the collaborative participatory, namely cooperation between researchers with practitioners in the field (teachers).
Results of research conducted by researchers, can be summed up as follows: 1. Planning studies class action covers two aspects, namely planning and planning classes outside the classroom. Planning class of the class setting, students are mentally prepared, and prepare the equipment needed in the implementation of role playing. While planning outside of class learning implementation plan, the determination of learning materials, and prepare observation sheet. 2. Implementation of role playing with the material well done commendable behavior. First cycle, the material covered is diligent and tenacious. Second cycle to discuss the precise nature. The third cycle discussed the theme of hard work. Classroom action research conducted as many as three cycles. 3. Implementation of the assessment with role playing is based on the observation sheet, and the results of post-test assessment.
When compared with conventional learning models, role playing has the advantage. Where when using conventional methods, class atmosphere is less conducive. Unlike after the role playing is applied, gradually these circumstances can be overcome with good.
Departing from this, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning strategy of role playing to increase learning motivation of Islamic religious education class VII D of Junior High School Public 2 Batu. With indicators of success include: 1. Students have an interest against Islamic religious education lessons, 2. Students have the hope of the future, 3. Students' enthusiasm in participating in teaching and learning activities, and 4. Classroom environment becomes more conducive.
