Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah dalam pelaksanaannya masih menunjukkan adanya permasalahan. Di antaranya adalah masih diterapkannya pembelajaran secara konvensional pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas sehingga tidak dapat menarik minat siswa untuk belajar. pembelajaran yang demikian berimplikasi pada kurangnya motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa terhadap Pendidikan Agama Islam. adapun pendekatan yang digunakan masih bersifat teacher centered dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Untuk itu, perlu diterapkan pendekatan alternatif dalam belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam yang dapat meningkatkan atau mengembangkan potensi siswa secara optimal. Salah satu alternatif pendekatan yang digunakan adalah dengan aplikasi CDP (The Child Development Project), dalam penerapannya ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.
Penelitian ini dirumuskan membahas 1). Bagaimana aplikasi Cooperative Learning model CDP (The Child Development Project) dalam meningkatkan motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 1 Malang. 2). Bagaimana perbedaan peningkatan motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 1 Malang setelah aplikasi Cooperative Learning model CDP (The Child Development Project).
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan jenis kolaboratif. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif, dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan data penelitian yang bersifat kuantitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif.
Aplikasi metode pembelajaran Cooperative Leraning model CDP (The Child Development Project) pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Malang dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip aplikasi metode Cooperative Learning model CDP. Penggunaan modul, pembiasaan siswa dengan model pembelajaran CDP, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, menunjuk salah satu siswa untuk jadi penanggung jawab kelompok diskusi. Guru bertindak sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, sekaligus motivator agar siswa berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran.
Aplikasi Cooperative Learning model CDP (The Child Development Project) pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam terbukti dapat meningkatkan motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Malang. Motivasi belajar meningkat sebesar 135.7%. Minat belajar siswa meningkat 183%. Sedangkan prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 37.2%.
Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti memberikan saran sebagai bahan pertimbangan kepada lembaga agar model pembelajaran CDP (The Child Development Project) diharapkan senantiasa meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara lebih baik. Begitu pula kepada guru agar dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif sehingga dapat diperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan data penelitian yang lebih akurat mengenai aplikasi model pembelajaran CDP (The Child Development Project) pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk meningkatkan motivasi, minat dan prestasi belajar siswa.
ABSTRACT
Islamic education in school in its implementations still indicates a problem. Among these is still applying the conventional learning on the subject of Islamic education in the classroom so as not to attract student to learn. Such learning implies a lack of motivation, interest and student learning achievement of the Islamic education. As for the approach used is still a teacher centered by using the method of lecture and question and answer. Therefore, alternative approaches need to be applied in the study of Islamic education that can improve or develop student potential optimally. One alternative approach is used with the application of CDP (The child Development Project), in its application is expected to increase motivation, interest, and student learning achievement in the subject of Islamic education.
This study was formulated to discuss 1). How cooperative learning applications CDP (The Child Development Project) in creasing motivation, interest, and student achievement in subject Islamic education in Senior High School 1 of Malang. 2). How differences increasing motivation, interest and student achievement in subject Islamic education in Senior High School 1 of Malang after application of cooperative learning model CDP (the Child Development Project).
This study uses classroom action research with collaborative species. Research techniques used in this research is observation, interview and documentation. Qualitative research data, analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. While quantitative research data analyzed by using quantitative descriptive.
Cooperative learning methods application learning CDP model (the Child Development Project) at the Islamic education subject that can improve motivation, interest and learning achievement of student in grade XI IPS 2 Senior high School 1 of Malang by applying the principles of cooperative learning methods applications CDP model. The use of modules, habituation student with learning model CDP, as well creating a conducive learning environment, pointing to one student to be responsible for group discussion. Teacher act as facilitator, mentor, as well as a motivator for students to play an active role in learning.
Applications cooperative learning model CDP (the Child Development Project) on the subject of Islamic education is proven to increase motivation, interest and student achievement class XI IPS 2 Senior High School 1 of Malang. Motivation to learn increasing by 135.7%. interest in student learning increased 183%. Meanwhile, student achievement increased by 37.2%.
From the result of this study, research gave suggestion for consideration by the agency for learning model CDP (the Child Development Project) is expected to constantly improve the quality of learning better. Similarly, the teacher in order to create a conducive environment so as to increase motivation, interest and student learning achievement. In addition, the need to conduct further research using qualitative research design to obtain a deeper understanding and more accurate research data on the application of learning models CDP (the Child Development Project) on the subject of Islamic education to improve the motivation, interests and achievement student learning.
