Abstract
ABSTRAK
Kepala madrasah memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam menggerakkan kehidupan di madrasah. Survei membuktikan bahwa kepala madrasah dapat mengembangkan kepribadian siswa melalui program kegiatan pembinaan pendidikan agama Islam. Pengembangan kepribadian siswa pada saat di MTs sangat penting, karena diusia MTs yang beranjak remaja harus selalu dibina dalam bentuk pembinaan pendidikan agama Islam, agar siswa dapat terarah dari segi akademik, akidah dan akhlaknya. Dari pembinaan tersebut kepala madrasah merancang program-program keagamaan bekerja sama dengan koordinator keagamaan, setiap hari kepala madrasah selalu memantau kegiatan keagamaan harian di kelas, dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang lain dipantau satu bulan sekali berupa laporan dan siswa selama berada di rumah selalu dipantau oleh orang tua melalui buku monitoring ibadahku yang mereka dapatkan dari madrasah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi peranan kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan kepribadian siswa melalui pembinaan pendidikan agama Islam dan kendala kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan kepribadian siswa melalui pembinaan pendidikan agama Islam.
Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk analisis, peneliti menggunakan analisis domain, yaitu data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan berperan serta wawancara atau pengamatan deskriptif yang terdapat dalam catatan lapangan, sehingga dalam penulis berupaya mengadakan penelitian dengan menggambarkan secara menyeluruh tentang keadaan yang sebenarnya ada di lapangan. Disini peneliti menyertakan dokumentasi sebagai pelengkap dan penguat data penelitian.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa: peranan kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan kepribadian siswa melalui pembinaan pendidikan agama Islam terdapat enam peran yaitu kepala madrasah sebagai pemimpin, supervisor, pendidik, manajer, administrator dan motivator serta beberapa kegiatan pengembangan diri siswa yang telah dirancang kepala madrasah bersama koordinator keagamaan. Kepala madrasah menyadari bahwa dalam proses pengembangan kepribadian siswa belum sampai pada akar permasalahannya, karena terdapat beberapa kendala dari beberapa pihak.
ABSTRACT
Head of the madrassa has a very important role in moving life in the madrasa. Surveys show that the head of the madrassa to develop personality of students through program development activities of Islamic religious education. Students on personality development in MTs is very important, because at age teenage MTs must always be fostered in the form of development of Islamic religious education, so students can focus in terms of academics, faith and ruqyah. From the head coaching madrassa religious programs designed in collaboration with religious coordinator, every day madrassa head constantly monitor daily religious activities in the classroom, and other activities are monitored once a month in the form of reports and student during his stay in the house is always monitored by a person through monitoring ibadahku old books that they get from the madrassas.
This study aims to describe and identify the role of head of the madrassa students' personal development through the development of Islamic religious education and madrasahs chief obstacle in developing the personality of students through the development of Islamic religious education.
In this study, the authors used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. In collecting data, the authors use the method of observation, interview and documentation. As for analysis, researchers used a domain analysis, i the data obtained from participant observation and interviews or observations contained in the descriptive field notes, so that the author seeks to conduct research to describe thoroughly about the actual situation is on researchers to include documentation lapangan. Disini as a supplement and reinforcement of research data.
Based on the research found that: the role of head of the madrassa students'personal development through the development of Islamic religious education there are six roles of head of madrassas as leaders, supervisors, educators, managers, administrators and motivator as well as some students' self-development activities that have been designed with the head coordinator of religious madrassas. Head madrassa realize that in the process of personality development of students has not reached the root of the problem, because there are some obstacles from some parties.
The advice can be given, namely: 1. In improving the personality development of students expected the teacher labor force still working to improve its performance in monitoring the students and are able to develop optimally Madrasah. 2. Improving the quality of the development of Islamic religious education in madrassas to always lead the innovations in various sectors, both concerning the discipline of students and teachers and students in religious activities daily.
