Pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran PAI di SMP Raden Fatah Batu

ABSTRAK

Dalam proses pembelajaran ada beberapa hal yang saling berkaitan yaitu guru, siswa, materi pelajaran, metode pembelajaran, serta pemanfaatan sumber belajar, termasuk pula dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Di lingkungan sekolah memang terdapat berbagai sumber belajar yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh siswa maupun guru dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah perpustakaan sekolah. Dalam belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam salah satu hal penting guna menunjang proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah ketersediaan sumber Pendidikan Agama Islam, dalam hal ini adalah buku-buku Pendidikan Agama Islam atau sumber lain yang tersedia di perpustakaan sekolah yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Bagaimanakah pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Raden Fatah Batu? (2) Bagaimanakah hambatan yang terjadi dari pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Raden Fatah Batu? (3) Bagaimanakah solusi yang ditempuh untuk mengatasi hambatan yang terjadi dari pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Raden Fatah Batu?

Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif pula, yaitu berupa pemaparan dan penggambaran secara menyeluruh tentang keadaan yang sebenarnya mengenai data-data terkait, baik yang tertulis maupun lisan dari objek penelitian yang ada di lembaga tersebut. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu metode observasi, interview dan dokumentasi. Untuk mendukung pemaparan data, penulis juga menyertakan berbagai lampiran yang terkait dengan penelitian ini.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk Pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam oleh guru dan siswa masih kurang dikarenakan jarang berkunjung ke perpustakaan sekolah.

Hambatan yang adalah fasilitas perpustakaan yang masih memerlukan penambahan, kurangnya minat siswa terhadap mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. serta kurangnya faktor sumber daya manusia yang mendukung, baik dari petugas perpustakaan dan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Cara-cara yang ditempuh untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut ada dua kategori. Yaitu Memperbaiki kualitas sumber daya manusia baik dari petugas perpustakaan maupun guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. kedua adalah cara-cara yang belum terlaksana dan masih menjadi program selanjutnya adalah penambahan fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah, dan akan menghadirkan sebuah perpustakaan sekolah yang berbasis penerapan teknologi komputer serta pihak sekolah juga memerlukan program khusus untuk lebih mendekatkan perpustakaan sekolah dengan warga sekolah pada umumnya.

Berdasarkan kesimpulan maka disarankan kepada pihak sekolah melalui kepala sekolah sebagai pimpinan hendaknya terus berusaha sebaik mungkin dalam usaha menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang proses pembelajaran di sekolah bagi siswa dan guru termasuk fasilitas belajar yang tersedia di perpustakaan sekolah.

ABSTRACT

In the teaching learning process there are some important things that on occasion there are, teacher,student, subject learning, learning methode and the utilization of the source learning, icluded on the islamic education classes.in the environtment of the school contain various of the souece learnig.it can be used by the student or the teacher in the teaching learning process.one of the source learning that can be profltler is the school library. In the learning of islamic education, the one of the important thing to support the teaching learning process is big supply of the islamic books and the other source that served by school library can be used on the process learning of islamic education.

The statement of the problem in this research are: (1) How does the utilization of the school lybrary become the source learning in the teaching learning procees on the islamic education at junior high school raden fatah batu? (2) What kind of obstacle that happen on the utilization of the school lybrary become the source learning in the teaching learning procees on the islamic education at junior high school raden fatah batu? (3) How about the sollution to solve the problem on the utilization of the school lybrary become the source learning in the teaching learning procees on the islamic education at junior high school raden fatah batu?

This research using descriptive qualitative method with the technic of analysis using descriptive qualitative too.That show the description and the delineation on comprehensive analysis about the real condition in the data concerned on some written and oral.in the data collection the writter used some method such as: observation,interview, and documentation. To support the data analysis the writer enclose several appendix that concerned for this research.

The result of this research show that for utilization of school library become the source learning in the teaching learning procees on the islamic education by the student and the teacher is decrease because they seldom to visit to the school library to get the benefit from the school library. The much utilization of the collection on schooll library is subject matter but the utilization of non subject matter is obstacled because of the limittation of amount and kinds of the collection. Other than that, the utilization of school library can be appliyed by given sheet of the student assigment in individual or groups from the teacher. To finish the assigment,the student get the freedom to find source or reference to doing the assigment,included to using the collection on library school.

The obstacles are short collection of school library to islamic education subject,the facility of the shool library need increment, under interesting toward the islamic education subject, and undercommmunication from the librarian and the islamic education teacher. The ways in which to solve the problem is devided into two categories.The first is increase the books collection in the school library step by step and repair the quality of the human source from the librarian and the islamic education teacher.The second is the ways that carried out yet before and stiil become the next program is to increase the shool library facility and represent the school library that based on computer application.the school side need the special program to brought nearer the school library and the member of the school in the general.

Based on the conclusion admissible that the headmaster is become leadership must be try to have in slevee device and infrastucture that can support teaching learning process in the school for the student and the teacher included the the learning facility that served by the school library.
