Level berpikir aljabar mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah polinomial berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO ditinjau dari adversity quotient

Berpikir aljabar penting untuk digunakan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah dengan cara mengabstraksi permasalahan ke dalam variabel dan simbol-simbol melalui model matematika, sehingga lebih mudah terselesaikan. Selain itu, keberagaman berpikir mereka ada tingkatannya tersendiri yang harus disadari oleh pendidik maupun peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan level berpikir aljabar mahasiswa yang dikelompokkan menurut tipe adversity quotient. Karakteristik level berpikir aljabar tersebut, dilihat dari kualitas respons tugas yang diukur dengan taksonomi SOLO dan pemberian masalah polinomial yang menuntut proses berpikir tinggi.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 9 mahasiswa angkatan 2021 Program Studi Tadris Matematika Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang yang terdiri atas 3 mahasiswa tipe quitters, 3 mahasiswa tipe campers, dan 3 mahasiswa tipe climbers. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian soal polinomial, think aloud, dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh ditranskip kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan indikator level berpikir aljabar teori Kamol yang terdiri atas level 0-4 pada aspek representasi, variabel, dan pola.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan tipe quitters mencapai level 1, 2, dan 3 pada indikator representasi, level 2 pada indikator variabel, serta level 1 dan 2 pada indikator pola. Mahasiswa dengan tipe campers mencapai level 2 dan 3 pada indikator representasi, level 2 dan 4 pada indikator variabel, serta level 3 pada indikator pola. Sedangkan mahasiswa dengan tipe climbers mencapai level 3 dan 4 pada indikator representasi, level 2 dan 4 pada indikator variabel, serta level 3 pada indikator pola.

Algebraic thinking is important for students to use in solving problems by abstracting problems into variables and symbols through mathematical models, so that is easier to solve. In addition, the diversity of their thinking has its own level that must be realized by educators and students. The aim of this research is to get a description of the students' algebraic thinking levels which are grouped according to the type of adversity quotient. The characteristics of the algebraic thinking level can be seen from the quality of the task response as measured by the SOLO taxonomy and the provision of polynomial problems that require high thinking processes.

This research is a descriptive researchs with a qualitative approach.The research subjects consist of 9 students of the 2021 batch of Tadris Mathematics study program at the Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang which consist of 3 students of the quitters type, 3 students of the campers type, and 3 students of the climbers type. Data was collected by administering polynomial questions, think aloud, and interviews. The data obtained were transcribed and then analyzed based on indicators of Kamol's theory of algebraic thinking level consisting of levels 0-4 on aspects of representation, variables, and patterns.

The results showed that students with the quitters type reached levels 1, 2, and 3 on the representation indicator, level 2 on the variable indicator, and levels 1 and 2 on the pattern indicator. Then the students with the campers type reached level 3 on the representation indicator, level 2 and 4 on the variable indicator, and level 3 on the pattern indicator. Meanwhile, students with climbers type reached level 3 and 4 on the representation indicator, level 2 and 4 on the variable indicator, and level 3 on the pattern indicator.

تفكير الجبر مهمة ليُستخدَم للطلاب في حلّ المسألة بطريقة جرّد الفكرة في المتغير والرمز بشكل الرياضيات، بحيث يستطيع أن يحل بسهولة. يمتلك مستوى التفكير المتنوع ما يحتاج المعلمون والطلاب أن يدركه. يهدف هذا البحث إلى وصف مستوى تفكير الجبر للطلاب الذي يجمّع بحسب الشدائد القسمة. يُرى مزية مستوى تفكير الجبر من جودة إجابة العمل التي تعايَر بعلم التصنيف هيكل نتائج التعلم المرصودة (التاكسونوميا سولو) وبشارة مسألة متعددة الحدود التي تجبر على عملية تفكير عالي.

هذا البحث هو بحث وصفي بنهج نوعي. تكوّن مدار البحث من 9 الطلاب من فئة 2021 بقسم تدريس علم الرياضيات جامعة مولانا مالك إبراهيم الإسلامية الحكومية مالانج الذين يتكون من 3 الطلاب بشكل الذكاء العسرية السفل، 3 الطلاب بشكل الذكاء العسرية الوسط، و3 الطلاب بشكل الذكاء العسرية الرافع. عمل اجتماع البيانات بعطاء استبانة الشدائد القسمة وأسئلة متعددة الحدود وتفكير بصوت عالي ومقابلة. عمل صلاح البيانات بطريقة التثليث. نُسخ البيانات المتواجد، ثم حُلل باستناد إلى مؤشر مستوى تفكير الجبر نظرية كامول، التي تتكون من مستويات من صفر إلى أربعة والتي تتكون من التمثيل والمتغير والتخطيط.

دل حصيل البحث أن يجترح الطلاب بشكل الذكاء العسرية السفل مستوى أول وثانيا وثالثا في مؤشر التمثيل ومستوى ثانيا في مؤشر المتغير ومستوى أول وثانيا في مؤشر التخطيط. يجترح الطلاب بشكل الذكاء العسرية الوسط مستوى ثانيا وثالثا في مؤشر التمثيل ومستوى ثانيا ورابعا في مؤشر المتغير ومستوى ثالثا في مؤشر التخطيط. ويجترح الطلاب بشكل الذكاء العسرية الرافع مستوى ثالثا ورابعا في مؤشر التمثيل ومستوى ثانيا ورابعا في مؤشر المتغير ومستوى ثالثا في مؤشر التخطيط.
