Abstract

INDONESIA:

Stres akademik yang dialami mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi beraneka ragam, permasalahan yang kompleks dimana mahasiswa di tuntut menyelesaikan tugas dan kewajiban, juga permaslaahan lainnya. Mahasiswa yang sedang mengalami stress akademik dengan melakukan self-disclosure dengan orang yang dipercaya, teman, bahkan pacar maupun orang tua, akan mengurangi stres yang dirasakan.

Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Menggunakan alat ukur yang digunakan adalah SASS (Student Academic Stress Scale), analisis data menggunakan analisis data statistik uji regresi linear sederhana. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 49 mahasiswa angkatan 2018 Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri di Kota Malang. Hasil uji coba alat ukur menunjukkan bahwa pada skala Self-discosure sebanyak 21 aitem valid dan skala Stres akademik 23 aitem yang valid dan memenuhi uji reliabilitas.

Hasil penelitian lapangan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.729, yang menujukkan tidak adanya pengaruh antara self-disclosure dengan stres akademik. Dengan 16,30% mahasiswa melakukan self-disclosure yang tinggi,. Dan 12,25% mahasiswa merasakan stres akademik yang tinggi.

ENGLISH:

Stress experienced by students who are working on theses varies, complex problems where students are required to complete tasks and obligations, as well as other problems. Students who are experiencing academic stress by doing self- disclosure with trusted people, friends, even boyfriends and parents, will reduce the stress they feel.

Researchers used a quantitative approach. Using the measuring instrument used is SASS (Student Academic Stress Scale), data analysis using statistical data analysis simple linear regression test. The number of research samples was 49 students of the 2018 Faculty of Psychology, State University in Malang City. The test results of the measuring instrument show that on the Self-discosure there are 21 valid items and the 23-item academic stress scale that is valid and meets the reliability test.

The results of the field research show a significance value of 0.729, which shows that there is no influence between self-disclosure and academic stress. With 16.30% of students doing self-disclosure ,. And 12.25% of students feel high academic stress.
