Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penerapan Metode Group Investigation ini dilatarbelakangi oleh realita bahwa motivasi dan prestasi siswa pada pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam sangat kurang yakni pada materi Perkembangan Dinasti Al-Ayyubiyah. Hal ini dikarenakanan trategi atau metode yang di gunakan guru bersifat monoton dan hanya menggunakan metode ceramah saja serta media yang digunakan hanya buku paket. Sehingga siswa tidak semangat dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya metode yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa, seperti metode group investigation.
Penelitian ini membahas tentang: (1) Bagaimanakah proses perencanaan penerapan metode Group Investigation untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar perkembangan Islam di masa dinasti Al-Ayyubiyah pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP An-Nur Bululawang? (2) Bagaimanakah proses pelaksanaan penerapan metode Group Investigation untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan pretasi belajar perkembangan Islam di masa dinasti Al-Ayyubiyah pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP An-Nur Bululawang? (3) Bagaimanakah penilaian penerapan metode Group Investigation untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar perkembangan islam di masa dinasti Al-Ayyubiyah pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP An-Nur Bululawang?
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini terbukti bahwa metode Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestas belajar siswa melalui:(1) Proses perencanaan tindakan penerapan metode Group Investigation untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa meliputi: Melakukan observasi, Melakukan wawancara kepada guru, Menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Menyiapkan stimulus atau reward bagi siswa-siswi yang berprestasi.(2) Implementasi Tindakan, Peneliti ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP An-Nur Bululawang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Data yang bersifat kualitatif yang terdiri adri hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif.(3) Implementasi Penilaian, Setelah melewati beberapa siklus dapat diketahui dari suasana kelas yang menjadi aktif, tumbuhnya keberanian, dan rasa percaya diri siswa. Serta dapat dilihat dari hasil tes belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya hingga mencapai standar kelulusan minimal yang ditetapkan baik secara individual maupun secara klasikal.
ABSTRACT
The implementation of Group Investigation method is motivated by the reality that motivation and students achievement in Cultural History of Islamic learning that is severely lacking in the material development of the Al -Ayyubid dynasty. This is because strategy or used monotonous teacher methods and just use the lecture method alone and media that is used only textbooks. So that students are not in the spirit of learning. Therefore, there is need for methods that can improve motivation and student achievement, such as group investigation methods.
Discussion of the study: (1) What is the process of planning
implementation of Group Investigation method to improve learning motivation and achievement in the development of Islamic Al-Ayyubid dynasty in VIII class student at junior high school An-Nur Bululawang? (2) How does the process of implementation Group Investigation method to improve learning motivation and interpretation of the development of Islamic on Al-Ayyubid dynasty in VIII class students in junior high school of An-Nur Bululawang? (3) How is the assessment of the implementation in Group Investigation method to improve learning motivation and achievement in the future development of Islamic Al-Ayyubid dynasty in VIII class students at junior high class of An-Nur Bululawang?
Based on the results of this study proved that Group Investigation method can improve student motivation and learning achievement through: (1) The process of implementation of action plan of Group Investigation method to increase motivation and student achievement include: Conducting observations, Conducting interviews to teachers, Develop lesson plan, Preparing stimulus or reward for students who excel. (2) Implementation of action, these researchers used a qualitative approach to the research type Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were VIII class student at junior high school of An-Nur Bululawang. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, and testing. Qualitative data consisting observation, interviews, and documentation qualitatively analyzed descriptively. (3) Implementation Assessment, After going through several cycles can be known from the classroom atmosphere becomes active, growing courage, and s elf confidence of students. And can be seen from the test results that have increased student learning at each cycle until it reaches the minimum passing standard set individually or in classical.
