Abstract
ABSTRAK
Secara sosiologis keluarga merupakan bagian dari masyarakat, dalam hal ini peran keluarga sangat penting terutama dalam pembentukan perkembangan diri anak, khususnya orang tua di mana ia berperan sebagai pendidik pertama dan utama dalam meningkatkan pendidikan anak. untuk itu diharapkan orang tua harus mampu mendidik anak-anaknya dengan mengedepankan keadilan antara anak laki-laki dan perempuan, dan keberhasilan anak dalam masa depannya tergantung dari bagaimana cara orang tua memberikan pendidikan.
Keluarga merupakan pusat pendidikan yang pertama dan utama. Di dalam keluarga inilah anak pertama kalinya mendapatkan pendidikan dan bimbingan. Pendidikan keluarga merupakan pendidikan yang sangat penting terutama pendidikan berbasis gender terhadap anak laki-laki dan perempuan, yang harus dilakukan oleh kedua orang tua untuk meningkatkan pendidikan formal anak laki-laki dan perempuan tanpa membedakan status gender. Selain itu keluarga juga berfungsi sebagai peletak dasar pembentukan pribadi anak. Dalam hal ini peran orang tua sebagai pendidik yang pertama dan utama sangat dibutuhkan.
Keberhasilan pendidikan dalam keluarga harus didukung oleh suasana yang kondusif dari keluarga atau orang tua itu sendiri, serta lingkungan dan teman pergaulan anak. Dalam pendidikan gender, orang tua memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam mendidik dan mengarahkan anak-anaknya, karena apabila dalam satu keluarga tersebut terjadi bias gender maka hal ini akan sangat berpengaruh pada pola pikir anak-anaknya dimasa yang akan datang. Adapun yang menjadi fokus dari studi ini adalah mencari sedetail-detailnya tentang: (1) Bagaimanakah pandangan masyarakat desa Sumbersawit, kecamatan. Sidorejo, kabupaten Magetan, tentang keadilan orang tua dalam memberikan pendidikan terhadap anak laki-laki dan perempuan. (2) Bagaimanakah sikap masyarakat desa Sumbersawit, kecamatan Sidorejo, kabapaten Magetan, tentang pendidikan formal.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mendiskripsikan pandangan masyarakat desa sumbersawit terhadap keadilan mendidik anak laki-laki dan perempuan. (2) Untuk mendiskripsikan sikap masyarakat desa sumbersawit tentang pendidikan formal.
Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan terjun langsung atau observasi berdasarkan atas ciri-ciri yang sudah diketahui sebelumnya dan observasi yang dilakukan diusahakan supaya responden memperoleh data yang sesuai untuk menjawab semua pertanyaan di atas, dalam skripsi ini ditempuh dengan penelitian teoritis dan empiris, dalam penelitian teoritis penulis menggunakan metode induksi, deduksi, komparasi.
Dari analisis data yang diperoleh dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pandangan masyarakat desa Sumbersawit tentang kewajiban mendidik anak bagi orang tua adalah suatu hal yang wajib untuk dilaksanakan. Karena mereka menganggap bahwa anak adalah tanggung jawab yang diamanahkan oleh Allah untuk diberi pendidikan dan pengajaran. Menurut mereka yang berhak atau yang berkewajiban dalam mendidik anak-anaknya adalah kedua orang tua.Pendidikan formal yang berkembang di desa Sumbersawit sudah menjadi suatu lembaga yang mewakili orang tua dalam hal mendidik seorang anak. Namun, itu semua peran orang tua dalam mendidik anak-anaknya masih tetap di lakukan.
ABSTRACT
Sociologically, family is part of the community, in this case the role of family is particularly important in shaping the development of the child. Especially the elder, where he served as the first and foremost educators in improving children’s education. Parents wishes should be able to educate their children by promoting fairness between boys and girls, and children's success in his future depends on how parents provide education.
The family as the center of education is first and foremost. Child in the family is the first time to get an education and guidance. Family education is an education which is very important especially gender-based education for boys and girls, to be done by both parents to improve formal education boys and girls regardless of gender status. Beside that, the family also serves as the foundation forming children’s personalities. In this respect the role of parents as the first and foremost educators are needed.
Given the important role of parents in the education of the family, which is all the knowledge and experience of the child, whether through sight, hearing, or behavior that comes from the parents will influence the formation of the child’s personality. Therefore, every word, attitude and behavior of people is a reflection of the child’s parents and will color their’s life.
Similarly, the Gender Bias in the family or the wider community have a major influence in the child's psychological life in the future. The success of education in the family must be supported by a conducive atmosphere of the family or the parents themselves, as well as environmental and social friends of children. In gender education, parents have a very important role in educating and directing the children, if in a family occurs Gender Bias, this will greatly affect the mindset of his children in the future. The focuses of this study are to seek as much detail the particulars of: (1). How does the view of society in Sumbersawit village, sub-district Sidorejo, Magetan district, about the fairness of parents in providing education for boys and girls. (2). How does the attitude of society in Sumbersawit village, sub-district Sidorejo, Magetan district, about formal education.
The purposes of this study are: (1). To describe the views of society in Sumbersawit village to justice educate boys and girls. (2). To describe the attitude of society in Sumbersawit village about formal education.
In this study the authors used qualitative methods, by plunging directly or observation based on a characteristic that is known in advance and the observations made so that the respondents sought to obtain the appropriate data to answer the questions above. In this thesis pursued with theoretical and empirical research, in a theoretical study authors used induction methods, deduction, comparison. While the empirical study authors collected data using the observation methods, interviews, documentation. The respondents of this study are all components of the people in the Sumbersawit village, sub-district Sidorejo, Magetan district, and research samples are parents who live in the village as many as 84 families.
From the analysis of the data obtained it can be concluded that the views of the villagers Sumbersawit obligation for parents to educate children is a matter that must to be implemented. Because they assume that the child is the responsibility entrusted by Allah to be given education and teaching. According to which they are entitled or obliged to educate their children is both parents. Beside that, the villagers of sumbersawit in educating their children had experienced good progress, the group should give equal rights of men and women to acquire formal education, because in Religion and the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia is set up, but there are still shortcomings in Sumbersawit caused villagers still use to educate a child is given his or her ancestors.
Formal education is growing in Sumbersawit village has become an institution representing the parents in terms of educating a child. However, it is all the role of parents in educating their children still remain at doing. Formal education is the responsibility of parents in the development of their children the parents have very big role, such as providing compassion, feed, protect their children, and provide the highest education to their children, both of formal and non-formal education . Because the parents are given a mandate by God to keep and care for their children. Parents are required to provide tuition of their children begin her child was born until the child was dead, as young people should get proper education so that future expectations of parents do not want to see her miserable. They had hope that her future could live better than parents, and can help the family to survive, with how to care for the elderly in the future.
