Abstract
ABSTRAK
Saat ini pendidikan agama di sekolah telah menghadapi berbagai tantangan baik secara internal maupun eksternal. Secara internal pendidikan agama di sekolah dianggap kurang berhasil dalam menggarap sikap dan prilaku keberagamaan peserta didik serta membangun moral dan etika bangsa sehingga yang terjadi saat ini adalah krisis moral dan etika. Sedangkan secara eksternal tantangan pendidikan agama Islam yaitu berupa menguatnya pengaruh budaya asing yang non-edukatif yang sudah mengglobal yang menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan gaya hidup (life style) peserta didik. Melalui guru pendidikan agama Islam, SMAN 1 Tumpang membangun budaya religius sebagai wujud antisipasi dalam menghadapi tantangan-tantangan tersebut.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam membangun budaya religius dan untuk mengetahui hasil dari proses membangun budaya religius di SMAN 1 Tumpang.
Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun dalam proses pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan metode observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi.
Adapun hasil penelitian di SMAN 1 Tumpang dapat di ketahui bahwa peran guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam membagun budaya religius diantaranya yaitu guru berperan sebagai motifator, fasilitator, inspirator, korektor, pemimpin, dan yang paling utama disini guru pendidikan agama Islam berperan sebagai pembimbing yang bertugas membimbing peserta didik untuk memiliki akhlakul karimah. Melalui perannya maka wujud dari adanya budaya religius yang kini sudah menjadi kegiatan sekolah diantaranya yaitu budaya 5 S (senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, santun), sholat dzuhur dan sholat jumat berjama’ah, pembacaan surat yasin, amal jumat, peringatan hari besar Islam, dan istigosah dan do’a bersama yang dilakukan pada waktu-waktu tertentu, serta pemakaian seragam sekolah yang lebih tertutup.
ABSTRACT
Recent religion education at school is facing some challenges, either internal or external. Internally, religion education at school is less successful in developing favorable expected attitude and behavior among the diversity of the educated participants. The morality and the ethic of nation, therefore, are hard to build. As a result, crisis of moral and ethic is emerging. Related to external challenge, religion education is important to increase the effect of non-educative foreign culture which is globally causing life-style change among the educated participants. Through Islamic religious education teachers, SMAN 1 Overlapping build religious culture as a form of anticipation in the face of these challenges.
This study aimed to describe the role of Islamic religious education teachers in building religious culture and to determine the outcome of the process of building a religious culture in SMAN 1 Tumpang.
This form of qualitative descriptive study. As for the process of data collection, the authors use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results of the study at SMAN 1 Overlapping can be in the know that the role of Islamic religious education teachers in membagun religious culture among the teachers act as motifator, facilitator, inspiration, proofreader, leader, and here the most important Islamic religious education teachers serve as mentors in charge of guiding learners to have akhlakul karimah. Through the manifestation of the role of religious culture which has now become a cultural school activities among which 5 S (smiles, greetings, greetings, polite, courteous), midday prayer and congregational Friday prayers, the reading of Yasin, charity Friday, warning of the day Islam, and istigosah and prayer together is done at certain times, and the use of school uniforms is more closed.
