Abstract
ABSTRAK
Berdasarkan observasi peneliti, ternyata di MAN Model Bangkalan, selama ini metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Fiqh adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, dan diskusi. Metode ceramah masih menjadi pilihan dalam penyampaian materi, sehingga siswa cenderung bosan, dan kurang bersemangat untuk belajar. Berpijak pada latar belakang diatas maka permasalahan yang timbul adalah: 1) Bagaimana Implementasi metode TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dalam meningkatkan belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 mata pelajaran fiqh di MAN Model Bangkalan? 2) Bagaimana hasil Implementasi metode TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dalam meningkatkan belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 mata pelajaran fiqh di MAN Model Bangkalan?.
Adapun tujuan yang ingin diketahui dari permasalahan tersebut diatas adalah: 1)Untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi metode TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dalam meningkatkan belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 mata pelajaran fiqh di MAN Model Bangkalan. 2) Untuk mengetahui hasil Implementasi metode TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dalam meningkatkan belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 mata pelajaran fiqh di MAN Model Bangkalan.
Think Pair Share adalah suatu metode kooperatif yang memberi siswa waktu untuk berfikir dan merespon serta saling bantu satu sama lain. Metode ini memperkenalkan ide “waktu berfikir atau waktu tunggu” yang menjadi faktor kuat dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam merespon pertanyaan. Peningkatan belajar siswa merupakan hasil dari perhatian dan motivasi, keaktifan, serta keterlibatan langsung/berpengalaman di dalam kelas.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Siklus I dilaksanakan dalam dua kali tindakan, (4X45 menit) dan siklus II juga dilakukan dalam dua kali tindakan (4X45 menit). Tahapan pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Dari hasil analisa, menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Metode Think-Pair-Share Dalam Meningkatkan Belajar Siswa XI IPS 2 Mata Pelajaran Fiqh Di MAN Model Bangkalan, telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan efektif dalam meningkatkan belajar siswa. hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan perhatian dan motivasi, keaktifan, serta keterlibatan langsung/berpenga- laman siswa.
ABSTRACT
Based on the researcher’s observations, apparently the method that used in teaching Fiqh in MAN Model Bangkalan during this time is lecturing, question and answer, and discussion . Lecturing method still can be an option in delivering the content, so students tend to get bored, and slack to learn. Based on the background above, the problems of this study are : 1) How the implementation of TPS (Think - Pair - Share) methods in improving students learning of class XI IPS 2 of fiqh subject at MAN Model Bangkalan? 2) How do the results of the implementation of TPS (Think - Pair - Share) methods in improving students learning of class XI IPS 2 of fiqh subject at MAN Model Bangkalan?
The objectives to be known from the problems above are : 1) To describe the implementation TPS ( Think - Pair - Share ) method in improving students learning of class XI IPS 2 of fiqh subject at MAN Model Bangkalan. 2) To know the results of the implementation of TPS ( Think - Pair - Share ) methods in improving students learning of class XI IPS 2 of fiqh subject at MAN Model Bangkalan.
Think Pair Share is a cooperative method that gives students time to think and respond and also to help each other mutually. This method introduces the idea of "thinking time or waiting time" which can be the powerful factor in improving students' ability to respond the questions. The improvement of students learning is the result of attention and motivation, being active, and also direct involvement/experience in the classroom .
The method used in this research is Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), which consists of two cycles . First cycle performed in two acts (4X45 minutes) and the second cycle was also performed in two acts (4X45 minutes). The implementation stages of Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) are including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The analysis is showing that The Implementation of Think - Pair - Share Method in Improving Students Learning of Class XI IPS 2 of Fiqh Subject At MAN Model Bangkalan has been well implemented and effective in improving students learning . It can be seen from the results of the study which showed an increase in attention and motivation, being active, and also students direct involvement/experienced.
