Abstract
ABSTRAK
Kualitas dan keberhasilan pembelajaran sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan dan ketepatan guru dalam memilih dan menggunakan metode pembelajaran. Hingga aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor siswa-pun dapat berkembang maksimal secara bersamaan tanpa mengalami pendistorsian salah satunya. Untuk itu peneliti menerapkan metode numbered heads together dalam proses pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak. Pembelajaran ini sebagai salah satu solusi untuk menjadikan pembelajaran lebih efektif terutama pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak yang merupakan spesifikasi dari penelitian ini.
Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan metode Numbered Head Together materi akhlak terpuji kepada sesama siswa kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Khadijah Malang; (2) untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan metode Numbered Head Together materi akhlak terpuji kepada sesama siswa kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Khadijah Malang; (3) untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penilaian penerapan metode Numbered Head Together materi akhlak terpuji kepada sesama siswa kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Khadijah Malang.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Khadijah Malang. Dengan desain penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) jenis kolaboratif. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan bentuk siklus berulang yang didalamnya terdapat empat tahapan utama kegaiatan, yaitu perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (action), pengamatan (observation) dan refleksi (reflecting) dan seterusnya sampai perbaikan atau peningkatan yang diharapkan tercapai (kriteria keberhasilan). Dalam perjalanan mengumpulkan data, penulis menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk analisisnya, penulis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang penulis peroleh selama melakukan pengamatan langsung di lapangan.
Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya metode belajar yang penulis tawarkan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa materi akhlak terpuji kepada sesama kelas VIII B Madrasah Tsanawiyah Khadijah Malang (1) pada perencanaan metode mengacu pada RRP yang telah dirancang, pelaksanaan metode sesuai dengan RPP yang telah dirancang secara kolaborasi bersama ibu Mariyana selaku guru Aqidah Akhlak kelas VIII B; (2) pada pelaksanaan dapat berjalan lancar, pelaksanaan metode Numbered Head Together merupakan pengalaman baru bagi guru dan siswa dan Numbered Head Together telah memberi beberapa manfaat bagi siswa dan guru dalam belajar antara lain: siswa menjadi semangat belajar, siswa mudah mengingat pelajaran, siswa berani mengemukakan pendapat, siswa berpikir kritis, kreatif dan inovatif, dan guru lebih mudah menjelaskan materi pelajaran pada siswa; (3) pada penilaian, dari data secara kuantitatif perolehan skor dalam prestasi belajar memperoleh nilai yang cukup tinggi.
Peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil penilaian selama proses pembelajaran dari kegiatan belajar mengajar pada observasi awal, siklus I dan siklus II yang mencakup penilaian aktivitas siswa, nilai tugas dan ulangan. Hasil penelitian yang membuktikan adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa adalah sebagai berikut. Pada siklus I, terdapat peningkatan sebesar 16% yaitu dari nilai rata-rata sebelum tindakan sebesar 59,3 menjadi 68,7 dengan jumlah kenaikan siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM sebesar 8,7% yang semula 30% menjadi 38,7% siswa pada siklus I. Sedangkan pada siklus II, peningkatan prestasi belajar ditandai dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata siswa dari siklus I sebesar 68,7 menjadi 83,3 atau sekitar 21,25% dan meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM sebesar 41,3% yang semula 38,7% menjadi sejumlah 80%.
ABSTRACT
The quality and the success of learning are strongly influenced by the ability and accuracy of teachers in selecting and using the learning methods. By using the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor techniques, students can be fully developed simultaneous without experience in any distortion. The researcher applied the method of NHT in the learning process of Aqidah Akhlak. It means that learning is as one of the solutions to make learning more effective, particularly for the subject of Aqidah Akhlak which is a specification of the study.
The purpose of this research is (1) to describe the planning of the NHT method in the material of good behavior to their friends in junior secondary school VIII B class, Khadijah Malang ; (2) to describe the implementation of the NHT method in the material of good behavior to their friends in junior secondary school VIII B class Khadijah Malang ; (3) to describe the results of applying the Numbered Head Together method in improving the academic achievement of students in the material of good behavior to their friends in junior secondary school VIII B class Khadijah Malang.
The research was conducted with the collaborative design of classroom action research. The classroom action research was carried out in the form of repeated cycles in which there are four main phases of activity, i.e. planning, action, observation and reflection and so on until the repairs or improvements are expected to be achieved (the criterion of success). On the way of collecting data, the writer used the methods of interview, observation, testing and documentation. While for the analysis, the writer uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, namely the qualitative data and quantitative data were obtained during the direct observation in the field.
The finding of this research showed that the methods of learning which is offered by the writer improve the students achievement in the material of good behavior to their friends in junior secondary school VIII B class, Khadijah Malang (1) in planning methods NHT refers to RPP that have been designed, the implementation of the method according to the lesson plan has been designed in collaboration with Mariyana mother as teacher Aqidah Akhlaq in VIII B class, (2) the implementation can run smoothly, implementation methods Numbered Head Together is a new experience for teachers and students and Numbered Head Together (NHT) has provided several benefits for students and teachers in the study include: students become eager to learn, the students easy to remember the lesson, the students tried to express their opinions, students critical thinking, creative and innovative, and teachers easier explain the subject matter to the students, (3) from the data quantitative the students’ scores in achievement gain high enough.
The increase of students’ achievement can be seen from the results of the assessment during the learning process of teaching and learning activities at the initial observation, the first cycle and second cycle assessment that includes student activities, tasks and replay value. The result of the research proves that the existences of an increase in student achievement are as follows. In the first cycle, there is an increase of 16% from the average value before the action amounted 59.3 to 68.7 with the increase in the number of students achieving grades of KKM 8.7% the original 30% to 38.7% of students in cycle I. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the rise of learning achievement is marked by the increasing value of the average student from the first cycle of 68.7 to 83.3, or about 21% and increasing the number of students obtaining a score of KKM 41.3% originally from 38.7% to 80%.
