Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses untuk menghasilkan manusia berbudaya tinggi untuk melaksanakan tugas dan kewajibanya dimasyarakat. Namun dalam menjalani pendidikan tidak mudah dan banyak masalah yang dihadapi yang harus diselesaikan. Semakin berkembangnya dunia pendidikan, guru dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar dituntut menggunakan berbagai strategi pembelajaran yang dapat mengaktifkan siswa. Penelitian ini berangkat dari latar belakang perlunya diadakan pembaharuan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas mengajar guru dalam pengelolaan proses pembelajaran, dimana sebagian besar guru masih melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan metode tradisional atau ceramah. Selain itu kurangnya media yang terdapat didalam sekolah tersebut dan siswa kurang antusias terhadap materi tersebut dikarenakan siswa merasa takut ketika materi merawat jenazah berlangsung.
Berdasarakan uraian diatas maka dapat dirumuskan masalahnya sebagai berikut: 1). Bagaiamana proses perencanaan dalam Peningkatan Pemahaman Tentang Merawat Jenazah Melalui Metode role playing di Kelas IX A MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang. 2). Bagaimana proses pelaksanaan dalam Peningkatan Pemahaman Tentang Merawat Jenazah Melalui Metode role playing di Kelas IX A MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang 3). Bagaimana proses penilaian dalam Peningkatan Pemahaman Tentang Merawat Jenazah Melalui Metode role playing di Kelas IX A MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode observasi (pengamatan), wawancara, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1. Perencanaan PTK dengan menggunakan role playing pada siswa kelas IX A MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang meliputi dua aspek perencanaan, yakni perencanaan kelas dan perencanaan luar kelas. Perencanaan kelas yang berupa setting kelas, penyiapan mental para siswa, dan menyiapkan alat yang dibutuhkan dalam pelaksanaan role playing. Sedangkan perencanaan luar kelas yakni berupa pembuatan RPP 2. Pelaksanaan Metode Bermain Peran setiap siklusnya diadakan dalam 2 x 45 menit, sesuai dengan RPP, Pelaksanaan Bermain Peran dari satu siklus ke siklus selanjutnya menggunakan waktu yang semakin panjang. 3. Penilaian pada metode role playing berhasil pada siklus kedua karena pada siklus pertama dan hasil dari pre-test nilaibelum mencapai maksimal atau KKM.
ABSTRACT
Education is a process to generate a cultured man to carry out the duties and obligations in the community. However, it’s not easy to improve the education. There are many problems which have to be solved. As the development of education, in doing the teaching and learning process the teacher is demanded to use a variety of instructional strategies that can make the students more active. This research began from the background that it is needed to improve the creativity of the teachers on managing teaching and learning process, in which most of the teachers still implement teaching and learning process by traditional method or lecturing. Furthermore, the lack of media which is available in the school and students were less enthusiastic to the material because the students feel scared when the material of treating corpse is ongoing.
Based on the description above, then the problem can be formulated as follows: 1). How is the planning process in Improving Students’ Understanding About Treating Corpse Through Role Playing Method at 9th A Grade Students of MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang. 2). How is the implementation process in Improving Students’ Understanding About Treating Corpse Through Role Playing Method at 9th A Grade Students of MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang 3). How is the assessment process in Improving Students’ Understanding about Treating Corpse through Role Playing Method at 9th A Grade Students of MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang. This research design is a classroom action research using qualitative research approach. Methods of data collection are observation (observation), interviews, and documentation.
Results of the research which conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that: 1. Planning of Classroom Action Research through roleplaying method toward
9th A Grade student of MTs NU Bunut Wetan Pakis Malang include two aspects of planning, class planning and outclass planning. Class planning which is in the form of classroom setting, mental preparation of the students, and set up the equipment needed in the implementation of role playing. While the outclass planning is in the form of making RPP 2. Implementation Role Playing Methods each cycle was held in
2 x 45 minutes, according to RPP, Role Playing implementation from one cycle to the next cycle using the longer time.3. The Assessment of role playing method is successes on the second cycle because the the result of the first cycle and the results of pre-test has not reached the maximum value or KKM.
