Abstract

INDONESIA :

Keanekaragaman serangga merupakan komponen keanekaragaman hayati yang paling besar jumlahnya. Serangga aerial adalah serangga yang hidup di darat dan memiliki sayap yang dapat digunakan untuk terbang. Serangga aerial mempunyai fungsi ekologis antara lain sebagai predator, detritivor, parasitoid, herbivora dan polinator. Banyaknya peran serangga aerial menjadikannya dapat dijadikan indikator keseimbangan lingkungan. Arboretum Sumber Brantas dan Lahan Pertanian Kentang Kecamatan Bumiaji adalah suatu lahan yang memiliki fungsi sama sebagai kawasan konservasi hulu sungai brantas namun cara pengelolaan yang berbeda, yakni secara alami dan dikendalikan manusia. Oleh sebab itu, jika ekosistem tidak seimbang maka akan mempengaruhi keanekaragaman yang ada di Arboretum Sumber Brantas dan Lahan Pertanian Kentang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis serangga aerial melalui identifikasi dan menghitung indeks keanekaragaman.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Arboretum Sumber Brantas dan Lahan Pertanian Kentang Desa Lemah Putih Kecamatan Bumiaji Kota Batu pada bulan April-Mei 2016. Penelitian bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode eksplorasi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perangkap jebak yellow sticky trap berjumlah 15 buah di setiap lokasi penelitian. Pengamatan faktor fisika lingkungan dilakukan di lokasi penelitian. Pemotretan spesimen dilakukan di laboratorium optik, Jurusan Biologi Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Maliki Malang. Serangga yang didapat diidntifikasi secara morfologi dengan menggunakan buku literatur dan Website BugGuide.net (2016). Selanjutnya dilakukan uji korelasi dengan menggunakan SPSS 16.0 dan indeks keanekaragaman di analisis dengan Past 3.12.

Hasil yang didapatkan di Arboretum Sumber Brantas (ASB) adalah 321 individu yang mana terdiri dari 5 ordo dan 31 famili terdiri dari Detritivor (1 famili), Herbivora (17 famili), Predator (7 famili) dan Parasitoid (6 famili) serangga yang didapatkan pada Lahan Pertanian Kentang (LPK) sebanyak 198 individu yang terdiri dari 4 0rdo dan 15 Famili yang terdiri dari Detritivor (1 famili), Herbivora (6 famili), Predator (5 famili) dan Parasitoid (3 famili). Indeks keanekaragaman di ASB adalah 2,791 sedangkan Indeks Keanekaragaman di LPK adalah 2,079. Kandungan faktor fisika di ASB untuk suhu 21,55ºC, kelembaban 78,36%, intensitas cahaya 6980 lux dan kecepatan angin 0.6 m/s. Sedangkan di LPK untuk suhu 19,3ºC, kelembaban 76,73%, Intensitas Cahaya 1210 lux dan kecepatan angin 0.46 m/s. Korelasi antara faktor fisika dengan serangga aerial, untuk korelasi tertinggi pada suhu dari famili Empididae (-0,538) memiliki tingkat hubungan korelasi sedang, kelembaban dari Famili Techinidae (0,822) memiliki tingkat hubungan Korelasi sangat kuat, kecepatan angin dari Subfamili Ceratopogonidae 2 (-0,469) memiliki tingkat hubungan korelasi sedang dan intensitas cahaya dari Famili Tachinidae (0,718) memiliki tingkat hubungan korelasi kuat.

ENGLISH :

The diversity of insects is the biggest component of biodiversity. Aerial insects is land living animal having wings to fly. Aerial insects have ecologycal functions such as predator, detritivor, parasitoid, herbivore, and polinator. Those many functions could become the indicator of environment equilibrium. The arboretum Sumber Brantas and Potato field in Bumiaji, Malang city is the place which have same purpose for Brantas river conservation program, although they have different method that is dealed by human and by nature. Therefore, if the ecosystem is not balance, it will have impact to the biodiversity at Arboretum of Sumber Brantas and potatos field. This research was realizationed to identify the type of aerial insects and for calculating the biodiversity’s index.

This research was carried out at Arboretum Sumber Brantas and potatos field in Lemah Putih Village, Bumiaji, Batu city, and held on April to May 2016. This research was applied by descriptive quantitative explanations by exploration method. The data collect method used ‘yellow sticky trap’ was a trap trick method which there are 15 units for each research destination places. The observation of environmental physically factor was enforced in the research destination places. The specimen’s picture capturing was held in the Optic Laboratory of Biology Study, Science and Technology Faculty at University Islamic of Maliki Malang (UIN). The sample of insects was identified by morphology category according to the literatures and BugGuide.net Website (2016). Then, having correlation tested by SPSS, and biodiversity tested by Past 3.12.

As the result of research at Arboretum Sumber Brantas (ASB), it was found 321 of individual which is classification to 5 ordo, 31 Family divided to Detritivor (1 famili), Herbivora (17 Family), Predator (7 Family), and Parasitoid (6 Famili). The insects found at the Potato Field (LPK) was 198 individual which is classification to 4 ordo, and 15 Famili divided to Detritivor (1 Family), Herbivora (6 Family), Predator (5 Family), and Parasitoid (3 Family). The biodiversity’s index at ASB was 2,791 and 2,079 at the LPK. Physical factor substance was in temperature 21,55ºC, humidity was 78,36%, the light intensity in degree 6980 lux, and the wind velocity was 0.6 m/s. But at the LPK Sedangkan di LPK had 19,3ºC of temperatur, humidity was 76,73%, the light intensity in degree 1210 lux, and the wind velocity was 0.46 m/s. The correlation between physical factors with aerial insects, to the highest correlation to the temperature of the family Empididae (-0.538) which has a medium correlation level, moisture from Family Techinidae (0.822) which has a very strong correlation level, the wind speed of Subfamily Ceratopogonidae 2 (-0.469) which has a medium correlation level and the light intensity of the Family Tachinidae (0.718) which has a strong correlation level.
