Abstract
INDONESIA :
Kedelai (Glycine max L. Merrill) merupakan satu diantara tanaman pangan yang penting bagi penduduk Indonesia sebagai sumber protein nabati, bahan baku industri pakan ternak dan bahan baku industri pangan. Satu diantara kendala dalam peningkatan dan stabilisasi produksi kedelai di Indonesia yaitu rendahnya hasil panen akibat pecah polong pada masa panen.Karakteristik morfologi polong diduga memiliki hubungan dengan pecah polong.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan ketahanan pecah pecah polong pada beberapa genotipe kedelai berdasarkan keragaman karakter morfologi polong.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional yang bermaksud menjelaskan keragaman karakter morfologi polong dan hubungan antara keragaman karakteristik morfologi polong dengan pecah polong kedelai..Analisis dilakukan dengan uji, hubungan keragaman karakter morfologi polong dengan ketahanan pecah polong korelasional Product Moment dari Karl Person.Dalam penelitian karakter morfologi polong meliputi panjang polong, lebar polong, tinggi polong, tebal polong, dan tebal kulit polong.Tingkat ketahanan pecah polong didasarkan pada persentase polong pecah mengikuti metode skoring (IITA).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keragaman karakter morfologi polong pada 30 genotipe. Persentase ketahanan pecah polong dari 30 genotipe berkisar antara 4.16% sampai 100%, dari 30 genotipe yang diuji didominasi oleh genotipe berkategori agak tahan (13 genotipe) dan sisanya berkategori moderat (9 genotipe), rentan (1 genotipe), sangat rentan (3 genotipe). Karakter morfologi yang berpengaruh dengan ketahanan pecah polong yaitu panjang polong dan tebal kulit polong. Kedelai yang tahan terhadap pecah polong adalah genotipe G 511 H/Anj//Anj///Anj-11-2 dengan panjang polong 4.72 cm dan tebal kulit polong 20.24 µm. Karakter morfologi tebal kulit polong menunjukkan hubungan negatif dengan tingkat ketahanan pecah polong yang berarti semakin tebal kulit polong maka semakin rendah tingkat pecah polong.

Soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill), is among the food crops that are important for the people of Indonesia as a source of vegetable protein, animal feed industrial raw materials and food industry raw materials. One of the obstacles in the improvement and stabilization of soybean production in Indonesia is the low yields due to pod shattering at harvest time. The morphological characteristics of pods estimate have links to pod shattering. This research aims to determine the relationship of pod shatter resistance in some soybean genotypes based on a variety of morphological characters pods.
This research is descriptive correlational intend to explain the diversity of morphological characters pods and the relationship between the diversity of the morphological characteristics of soybean with pod shattering. The analysis was done with the test, morphological characters diversity relations pod shatter resistance of pods correlation Product Moment from Karl Person. In a research of morphological characters pod includes pod length, pod width, height peas, thick pods, and pods thick skin. Pod shatter resistance levels are based on the percentage of broken pods follow the scoring method (IITA).

he results showed that there is a diversity of morphological characters pods at 30 genotype. The percentage of endurance resistance pod of 30 genotypes ranged from 4:16% to 100%, of the 30 genotypes tested dominated by genotypes categorized as moderately resistant (13 genotypes) and the remainder categorized as moderate (9 genotypes), vulnerable (1 genotypes), highly susceptible (3 genotypes ). Morphological characters that influence the pod shatter resistance is long and thick skin pod peas. Soybean pod shatter resistant genotype G 511 H / Anj // /// Anj Anj-11-2 with pod length and 4.72 cm thick skin pods 20:24 lm. Skin thick pods morphological characters showed a negative relationship with the level of pod shatter resistance, which means the thicker the skin, the lower-level pods to be shattered
