Abstract
INDONESIA:
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk(1) mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar IPA berbasis outdoor learning pada materi sumber energi dan kegunaannya, (2) mengetahui respon siswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar IPA berbasis outdoor learning pada proses pembelajaran materi sumber energi dan kegunaannya, (3) mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sumber energi dan kegunaaannya setelah mengimplementasikan bahan ajar IPA berbasis outdoor learning.
Jenis penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengadaptasi dari desain model pembelajaran Borg and Gall. Subyek uji coba adalah siswa kelas II-B MI Nahdlatul Ulama Kedung Cangkring. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh sejumlah data yang diharapkan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes pencapaian pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar.
Uji kelayakan atau validasi dari ahli materi didapatkan presentase kevalidan 92,5%, ahli desain didapatkan presentase kevalidan 87,5dan validasiahli pembelajaran guru bidang studi IPA mencapai kevalidansebesar 90%. Hasil uji coba untuk mengetahui respon siswa yang berjumlah 26 siswa kelas II-B MI Nahdlatul Ulama Kedung Cangkringdidapatkan bahwa respon siswa memperoleh presentase sebesar 85%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon yang baik saat menggunakan bahan ajar IPA berbasis outdoor learning. Hasil analisis dari nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 78,23, hasil analisis dari nilai post-test mencapai 83,58. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan perolehan hasil pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis outdoor learning, khususnya untuk soal pemahaman konsep yang sebelumnya siswa hanya bisa menjawab 2 soal saja meningkat menjadi 3 soal.
ENGLISH:
The research aimed to develop teaching material based on outdoor learning to utilize class environment and school environment in learning source. Utilizing class environment is to improve student concept understanding and increase student test result.
The objectives of the study are (1)to know advisability of teaching material of Natural Science based on outdoor learning in energy source and the benefit (2) to know student response after using teaching material of Natural Science based on outdoor learning in energy source and the benefit , (3) to know increasing of understanding concept and student test result teaching material of Natural Science based on outdoor learning in energy source and the benefit after applying.
This study is kind of Research and development (R&D). Development model adapted by Borg and Gall. Experiment subject is the student in second class –B Islamic Elementary School of Nahdlatul Ulama Kedung Cangkring. Instrument of the study aimed to get data using by observation, interview, questionnaire and comprehension achievement test concept and student test result.
Advisability or validation from the Material Expert got 92,5%, Design Expert got 87,5 and Expert of Natural Science Teacher got 90%. Experiment result to know 26 students response of II-B Islamic Elementary school of Nahdlatul Ulama Kedung Cangkringshowed that student response got 85%. It shows that the students gave a good response when using teaching material of natural science based on outdoor learning. Analysis result from average pre-test shows 78,23, and the result of post-test shows83,58. It shows that there are differences between student test result before using material of Natural Science based on outdoor learning in energy source and the benefit and after using it,. Espiacally to the questions of comprehension concept before, the student only can answer 2 questions and increasing till they can answer 3 questions.
