Abstract
INDONESIA:
ENGLISH:
The test used 16 array sensor electronic tongue based on lipid membrane to distinguish the taste of food by identifying patterns of food using ion selective membrane. The test of characteristic factors that were examined included limit detection, sensitivity, and Respond time. The test was carried out in 9 different concentrations, that were 0; 1.96 x10-5; 7.41 x10-5; 1.53 x10-4; 2.75 x10-4; 4.14 x10-4; 8.08 x10-4; 1.40 x10-4; and 2.38 x10-4 M. Limit detection for each sample disposition between 1.96 x10-5 and 7.41 x10-5 M concentration. All the sensors responded the sample with the different sensitivity. The sixth sensor had good sensitivity on the fourth basic tastes. On the other side, the eleventh sensor had less response on sour and saltly taste, the second sensor had poorly respond in bitter taste and thirth sensor also had poorly respond in umami taste. The steady state time (tss) was considered satisfied its criteria when sensor voltage deviation not more than resolusion ADC (-4.8 V until 4.8 V). The electronic tongue sensor was satisfied the steady state of sensor criteria.
