Abstract
INDONESIA:
Perhatian terhadap pendidikan anak penyandang tunanetra patutnya diberikan secara optimal dengan pemberian stimulus yang tepat dan diberikan sejak dini guna perkembangan kognitif, motorik, sosial, emosional, dan kepribadian. Peran pendidikan disini tidak hanya mengacu pada pendidikan formal dan keterampilan seperti sekolah pada umumnya. Pendidikan keagamaan juga memegang peranan penting dalam perkembangan anak tunanetra agar bisa membentuk akhlaqul karimah. Sebagaimana kehidupan bermasyarakat umat manusia, tunanetra kurang percaya diri dan mudah tersinggung sehinggasulit dalam hal berinteraksi dengan lingkungan masyarakat. Bekal pendidikan intelektual serta spiritual yang telah didapat melalui pondok pesantren nantinya bisa menjadi modal dalam dalam bermasyarakat kelak secara mandiri.
Metode kajian dari perancangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif, dimana ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis fenomena, peristiwa, aktifitas sosial, sikap, kepercayaan, persepsi, pemikiran orang secara individual maupun kelompok. Dalam perancangan ini, metode di ambil berupa adanya isu mengenai tunanetra yang menjadi minoritas dan merasa rendah diri untuk bermasyarakat.
Pada Perancangan Pondok Pesantren Tunanetra di Kabupaten Malang, tema yang diambil dalam perancangan adalah tema The Obscure of the “Hibernating Untouched”. Sebagaimana pertimbangan fungsi objek rancangan, maka didapat suatu konsep yang nantinya dapat memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan serta utamnya mampu mengungkapkan nilai – nilai dari karakter tunanetra sendiri. Berdasarkan penjabaran prinsip-prinsip tema hybernating untouched diambil sebuah konsep “gelap ke terang” dengan pertimbangan kodisi tunanetra tidak hanya menitikberatkan tidak pada daya sensor indra pnglihatan melainkan juga pada sisi pendidikannya hingga menjadi insan yang lebih baik bagi masyarakat.
ENGLISH:
The attention to the education of children with visual impairment should be administered optimally by providing the right stimulus and be given early to the development of cognitive, motor, social, emotional, and personality. The role of education here not only refers to formal education and skills as the school in general. Religious education also plays an important role in the development of blind children in order to form a good moral. As the social life of mankind, blind lack of confidence and irritable so it is difficult in terms of interacting with the community. Provision of intellectual and spiritual education that has been gained through the boarding school can be included in social capital in the future independently.
Methods of study of this design using qualitative descriptive method, which aimed to describe and analyze the phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts people individually or in groups. In this scheme, the method taken in the form of the issue of the visually impaired who are a minority and feel inferior to society.
Design Boarding School for the Blind in Malang, the theme of which was taken in the design is the theme of The Obscure of the "hibernating Untouched". As consideration of the draft function object, then later obtained a concept that can provide ease and comfort as well as staunch able to express the value - the value of the visually impaired character itself. Based on the elaboration of the principles hybernatinguntouched theme is taken a concept of "dark to light" with consideration of the blind are not only focused not on the power sensor senses of sight, but also on the side of education to become a better person for the community.
