Abstract
INDONESIA:
Pendidikan karakter merupakan upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kebajikan (vertus value) dalam membentuk karakter bangsa yang unggul. Melalui kurikulum PAI proses penanaman nilai-nilai karakter beragama pesrta didik di sekolah akan dapat dikembangkan dengan efektif. Untuk itu dibutuhkan pengelolaaan atau manajemen kurikulum yang tepat. Manajemen kurikulum PAI berbasis karakter merupakan pengelolaan pendidikan yang tersistem dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam mewujudkan kurikulum PAI baik di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas mulai tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, sampai penilaian/ evaluasi untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang ditetapkan dengan menjadikan nilai-nilai karakter sebagai basis kegiatan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan: 1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di SMA N 5 Mataram dan SMA Muhamadiyah Mataram, 2) Implementasi manajemen kurikulum PAI berbasis pendidikan karakter di SMA N 5 Mataram dan SMA Muhamadiyah Mataram, dan 3) Implikasi manajemen kurikulum PAI bagi pembinaan karakter di SMA N 5 Mataram dan SMA Muhamadiyah Mataram.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dan rancangan penelitian berupa studi multikasus. Sedangkan tehnik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah tehnik observasi (observation), wawancara mendalam (indepth interview), dan dokumentasi (documentation). Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan comparative contant analysis melalui dua tahap, yaitu analisis data kasus individu (individual case analysis), dan analisis data lintas kasus (cross-case analysis). Pengecekan data dilakukan melalui uji kredibilitas, trandfermabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di SMAN 5 Mataram menekankan memepertahankan karakteristiknya. Nilai karakter prestasi, terdepan, disiplin, kerja keras dan toleransi/saling menghormati didukung komitmen bersama mengintgrasikan nilai-nilai religious dalam lingkungan sekolah. Sedangkan di SMA Muhammadiyah Mataram mengembangkan karakteristiknya sebagi sekolah Plus agama. Menekankan nilai karakter religious, berpikiran maju. kerja keras dan peduli sosial (b) sumber nilai karakter dikembangkan dari al-Quran, al-Hadist, kebijakan pemerintah tentang kurikulum PAI dan delapan belas nilai karakter bangsa serta nilai karakteristik lembaga/insitusinya yang tertuang dalam visi, misi dan tujuan lembaga. 2). Implementasi dalam perencanan digunakan pendekatan system integrasi, pengorganiasian dan pelaksanaan dengan model parallel, strategi implementasinya dibutuhkan power strategi, habitualisasi serta integrasi terancang dan terprogram. Dalam penilaian digunakan pendekatan autentik dengan control langsung 3) Implikasi internal mempengaruhi kebijakan sekolah, sistem pengelolaan kurikulum berbasis karakter, terciptanya budaya religius di lingkungan sekolah, meningkatnya prestasi yang diperoleh. Dari sisi eksternal, adanya keberterimaan lulusan di lingkungan masyarakatnya, pelabelan positif kepercayaan masyarakat meningkat. Temuan formalnya: manajemen kurikulum PAI berbasis pendidikan karakter model parallel humanistik integratif.
ENGLISH:
Character education is an effort to instill character values of virtue (virtue values) in shaping the character of students who are superior. Through curriculum of PAI, the instillation of the character values of learners in schools can be developed effectively. Management of PAI curriculum based on character education is a systemic education management. This study aims to find: (1) The values of character developed in SMAN 5 Mataram and SMA Muhammadiyah Mataram, (2) Implementation of curriculum management of PAI based on character education in SMA N 5 Mataram and SMA Muhammadiyah Mataram, and (3) Implications of PAI curriculum management for the guidance of characters of students in SMAN 5 Mataram and SMA Muhammadiyah Mataram.
This study used a qualitative approach with the type of case study and research design of multi-case. While the techniques used in data collection was observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed using constant comparative analysis in two stages, namely data analysis of individual cases (individual case analysis), and data analysis of cross cases (cross-case analysis). Data checking was done through a test of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability.
The results show that the values of character developed in the schools are character values oriented on: first, improving student academic achievement, in forms of: appreciation to achievement, discipline, progressive thinking, and hard work. Second, religious communities awareness, in forms of religious, tolerance, and social cares. (2) Implementation of management of PAI curriculum based on character education implemented with systemic, humanistic, and integrative in planning, organizing and implementation with parallel model and the needs for power strategy. Character values education through habituation which has been integration in the curriculum and programmed in intra and extra-curricular activities. In the assessment, it used authentic approach with direct control. (3) Internal Implications: the increase of student achievement in academic and non-academic, availability of supporting facilities, character-based curriculum management system, the creation of a religious culture in the school environment. On the external side, the acceptability of graduates in the community, the positive labeling from society, increasing public confidence. The finding of this research is: curriculum management of PAI based on character education by parallel model of parallel humanistic integrative.
