Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penanaman karakter pada diri siswa menjadi hal yang wajib di era pendidikan sekarang ini. Namun, dalam penerapannya kurang didukung oleh media-media atau bahan yang mengakomodir muatan karakter tersebut. Sebagai salah satu solusi, modifikasi bahan ajar dengan muatan karakter dinilai cukup efektif untuk menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan karakter siswa.
Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini, Pertama, mendiskripsikan penerapan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis karakter untuk meningkatkan sikap hormat siswa kelas II MIN Malang 1. Kedua, Mendiskripsikan dampak penerapan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis karakter terhadap peningkatan sikap hormat siswa kelas II di MIN Malang 1.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen kuasi, dan pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan metode observasi, penilaian diri, penilaian antarteman, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes. Semua metode tersebut digunakan untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian tentang penerapan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis karakter untuk meningkatkan sikap hormat siswa kelas II MIN MALANG 1. Data-data yang diperoleh dari berbagai metode tersebut dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis uji t menggunakan program SPSS 16.
Dalam hasil penelitian ini, dapat dipaparkan bahwa penerapan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis karakter cukup mudah untuk dijadikan bahan atau media selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis karakter yang telah disiapkan dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran. Melalui bahan ajar tersebut, siswa diajak untuk memahami, mengatahui dan membiasakan diri untuk melakukan sikap-sikap yang menunjukkan indikator sikap hormat. Sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya bahan ajar, baik sikap hormat maupun nilai akademik siswa diukur. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan sikap hormat dan nilai akademik siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya bahan ajar. Dari analisis, terdapat temuan bahwa sikap hormat dan nilai akademik siswa meningkat setelah belajar menggunakan bahan ajar yang baru. Adapun dampak yang ditimbulkan dari penerapan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis karakter ini adalah siswa lebih bersikap hormat kepada orang tua, guru, teman, maupun yang lainnya. Siswa lebih menghargai dan menghormati orang lain.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, penerapan bahan ajar tematik integratif berbasis karakter mampu meningkatkan sikap hormat dan nilai akademik siswa. Dampak yang ditimbulkan, siswa lebih bersikap hormat, disiplin, tertib, dan teratur.

Character education on students become required in today's era of education. However, the application is less supported by the media or materials that accommodate characters. As one solution, with the modification of teaching materials based on character is effective to grow and develop the character of students.
The purpose of this research, First, describe the application of thematic integrative teaching materials based character to improving student’s comity grade II MIN Malang 1. Second, describe the impact of the application of the thematic integrative teaching materials based character to the increase student’s comity grade II at MIN Malang 1.
This research uses a quasi experimental research, and data collection is done by the method of observation, self-assessment, assessment between friends, questionnaires, documentation, and testing. All these methods are used to answer the problem of research on the application of thematic integrative teaching materials based character to increase student’s comity grade II MIN MALANG 1. The data obtained from the various methods were analyzed using descriptive analysis and t test analysis using SPSS 16.
In this research, it can be explained that the implementation of the thematic integrative teaching materials based character is easy enough to be used as a material or media during the learning process. Thematic integrative teaching material has been prepared based on the characters that serve as learning materials. Through the teaching materials, students are encouraged to understand, know and get used to the attitudes that demonstrate a respectful attitude indicator. Before and after the implementation of teaching materials, both comity and students' academic value measured. This is done to determine differences in attitudes of respect and value academic students before and after the implementation of teaching materials. From the analysis, there are findings that respect and value academic students increased after learning to use new teaching materials. As for the impact of the implementation of the thematic integrative teaching materials based on these characters are more students to be respectful to parents, teachers, friends, and others. Students appreciate and respect others.
Based on the research results, we concluded that the application of based thematic integrative teaching materials character capable of improving respect and value academic students. The impact, more students be respectful, disciplined, orderly, and regulary.
