Abstract
INDONESIA:
Pendidikan menempati kedudukan yang sentral, karena peranannya dalam membentuk pribadi muslim sebagai pembawa misi kekholifahan yang akan mampu mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi di tengah masyarakat. Untuk itu pendidikan diarahkan membentuk manusia yang memiliki kepribadian islam. Untuk mewujudkannya, maka sekolah perlu menerapkan manajemen strategis dalam pengelolaan pendidikan. Islamic Boarding School (IBS) Al Amri merupakan sekolah yang menerapkan manajemen strategis dalam membangun kepribadian islam siswa.
Fokus penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimana formulasi strategis, (2) implementasi strategis, (3) evaluasi strategis dalam membangun kepribadian islam peserta didik, serta (4) dampak manajemen strategis terhadap IBS Al Amri.
Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yaitu mereduksi, menyajikan, dan memverifikasi data. Pengecekan data dengan pengamatan terus menerus, memperpanjang masa observasi, triangulasi metode, dan triangulasi sumber data.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tahap formulasi strategi: (a) strategi input dengan merekrut SDM yang bersyakhshiyah islam, sesuai dengan ijazah dan menyeleksi siswa yang masuk melalui tes dan wawancara. (b) Strategi proses dengan mengembangkan program visi syakhshiyah (halaqoh, pembinaan syakhshiyah, bedah buletin, jasah munah, infaq, tutor sebaya, desa binaan), program visi tsaqofah (akademik: bahasa arab, qiro’atul kitab, tafsir, pidato bahasa arab, imla’/khod. Non akademik: arabic-english day, tahsin, tahfidz), program visi akademik (kurikulum pemerintah, eksperimen sains, proposal hidup, karya ilmiah, dan bimbingan belajar), dan program visi life skill (ekstrakurikuler, Intrepreneur, dan pelajaran syariah preneur). (c) strategi output dengan menjaga reputasi sekolah dan kualitas lulusan. (2) Tahap implementasi strategi yaitu dengan mengimplementasikan strategi serta melakukan restructuring, reenggineering, refocusing the organization, dan organizational leadership, serta membentuk budaya organisasi. (3) Tahap evaluasi dan control dengan menjalankan program Riayatuth tholabah, rapat direksi setiap pekan,dan survey kepuasan wali murid. (4) Dampak manajemen strategis terlihat pada kualitas lulusan unggul aqliyah dan nafsiyahnya, tercipta budaya yang unik dan islami, serta respon dan kepercayaan masyarakat bagus.
ENGLISH:
Education occupies a central position, because of it’s role in shaping the Muslim as a khalifah carrier mission that will be able to overcome the problems that occur in the society. Becouce of that education is directed to form a human who has the personality of islam. To realize it, schools need to implement strategic management in the management of education. Islamic Boarding School (IBS) Al Amri is a school that implements strategic management in building the islamic personality of the students.
Focus of this research are (1) how the strategic formulation, (2) strategic implementation, (3) strategic evaluation in building the islamic personality of the students, and (4) the impact on the strategic management of IBS Al Amri.
This research used a qualitative approach case study. Data collection by interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data by using Miles and Huberman model are reduces, present, and verify the data. Checking data with continuous observation, extend the period of observation, triangulation method, and triangulation of data sources.
Results of this research were (1) strategic formulation stage: (a) strategy by recruiting human resource input with character of islam, according to diploma and select new students by tests and interviews. (b) the strategy process by developing a vision program syakhsyiyah (halaqoh, coaching syakhsyiyah, surgical bulletins, jasah munah, infaq, peer tutors, guided village), tsaqofah vision program (academic: Arabic, qiro'atul kitab, tafsir, speeches Arabic, imla’/khod. Non-academic: arabic-english day, tahsin, Tahfidz), the program's vision of academic (the government curriculum, experiments science, proposal of life, scientific work and tutoring), and a vision of life skills (extracurricular, entrepreneur, and syari’ah lessons preneur). (c) output strategy is keep reputation school and quality of graduates. (2) the implementation phase of the strategy is implement the strategy, and restructuring and re-engineering, refocusing the organization and leadership organization, and shaping the organizational culture. (3) the stage of evaluation and control by running doing the program Riayatuth tholabah, a meeting direction every week, and parents' satisfaction survey. (4) the impact of strategic management looks at the quality of graduates that superior in nafsiyah and aqliyah, created a unique culture and islamic, as well as the response and trust of society is good.
