Dikatakan demikian karena buah durian tidak sedikit dibenci orang karena baunya yang sangat menyengat, namun disisi lain tidak sedikit pecinta buah durian yang tidak segan merogoh kantong mereka untuk menikmati kenikmatan King of Fruit ini. Kecamatan Warungpring di Kabupaten Pemalang hanyalah salah satu lokasi potensial yang menjadi penghasil utama buah durian di daerah Jawa Tengah lebih khusus di Kabupaten Pemalang. Potensi inilah yang menjadikan Kecamatan Warungpring sebagai lokasi yang cocok untuk dibangun sebuah Wisata Agro-edukasi durian. Wisata Agro-edukasi durian bertujuan untuk menjadikan agro durian sebagai sarana untuk mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai buah durian serta menjadikannya sebagai sarana untuk berwisata. Metode arsitektur ekologi dipilih karena dalam prosesnya, project Wisata Agro-edukasi Durian ini diharapkan tetap menjaga kelestarian alam sekitar serta dapat menjadi salah satu tujuan wisata edukasi baru baru bagi masyarakat yang berbasis wisata alam.
