Abstract
INDONESIA:
Setiap ibu menginginkan anaknya lahir dalam keadaan normal dan sehat, harapan muncul sejak anak masih di dalam kandungan. Keadaan berbalik saat ibu mendengar diagnosa anaknya berkebutuhan khusus. Berbagai masalah psikologis dialami ibu sebelum akhirnya mencapai tahap penerimaan diri. Proses untuk dapat menerima keadaan diri sebagai ibu dari anak berkebutuhan khusus merupakan proses yang sulit. Setiap ibu memiliki proses dan cara masing-masing untuk mencapai tahapan tersebut. Indonesia memiliki populasi anak berkebutuhan khusus terbesar keempat di dunia dengan jumlah mencapai 4 juta anak pada tahun 2013. Berarti jumlah ibu dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus di Indonesia tidak jauh dari itu.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat gambaran, proses, dan faktor penerimaan diri ibu dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Prosedur pengambilan sampel bola salju dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa skala terbuka, wawancara, dan observasi. Sampel sebanyak 3 ibu yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan kriteria ibu kandung. Seorang ibu adalah wanita yang telah mengandung, melahirkan, dan bertanggung jawab merawat anak.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, proses menuju penerimaan yang dialami ibu dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus yaitu shock (kaget), denial (menyangkal), grief (perasaan duka), guilt (perasaan bersalah), anger (perasaan marah), bargaining (tawar-menawar), adaptations & reorganization (adaptasi & reorganisasi), acceptance & adjustment (menerima & memahami). Gambaran penerimaan diri diantaranya pembukaan diri, percaya pada kemampuan diri, berpendirian teguh dan diorientasikan dalam bentuk kegiatan yang menjadikan lebih dekat dengan Tuhan, menyadari keterbatasan diri, kesehatan psikologis, dan tanggung jawab. Sikap keagamaan pada penerimaan diri yaitu ikhlas, ikhtiar, sabar, syukur, dan tawakkal. Faktor penerimaan yaitu pendidikan terakhir, pengetahuan tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus, usia awal diagnosa anak, jenis diagnosa anak, penerimaan diri, dan cara penyampaian diagnosa. Sedangkan faktor penerimaan diri yaitu dukungan diri (self support), dukungan sosial (social support), pandangan diri (self judgment), pandangan sosial (social judgment), pengetahuan konsep keagamaan, keadaan ibu, dan status sosial ekonomi.

Every mother wants her child was born in the normal and healthy condition, hopes to emerge since the child was still in the womb. The state turned around when the mother heard her son's diagnosis in need special. A variety of psychological problems has been experienced by mother before reaching the stage of self-acceptance. Process to be able to receive the state itself as the mother of the child with special needs is a difficult process. Every mother has the process and how to achieve each of these stages. Indonesia has a population of children with special needs the fourth largest in the world by number of reach 4 million by 2013. Means the total of mothers of children with special needs in Indonesia are not far from it.
The aim of this research was to see the overview, processes, and self- acceptance factor mothers of children with special needs. This type of research used qualitative phenomenological approach. Snowball sampling procedure with data collection techniques in the form of an open scale, interviews, and observation. Sample of the research are three mothers of children with special needs. Criteria for the research subject are the biological mother of a child with special needs because a mother is a woman who has been pregnant and gave birth to her son.
Based on the research results, the process experienced by the mother of child with special needs are shock, denial, grief, guilt, anger, bargaining, adaptations & reorganization, acceptance & adjustment. Description of self- acceptance, self opening of them believe the ability of self, held firm and it is oriented in the form of activities that make the closer to God, aware of the limitations, psychological health, and responsibility. Self-acceptance in Islam include with the sincere, endeavor, patience, gratitude, and tawakal. The factors of acceptance are namely education, the knowledge about child with special needs, early age of diagnosis of the child, the child's diagnosis, type and manner of delivery of diagnosis. The factors of self-acceptance those are self support, social support, self judgment, social judgment, a religious concept, the state of knowledge of the mother, and socioeconomic status.
