Abstract

INDONESIA:

Pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensidirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia serta ketrampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan Negara.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk:1) Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui rencana dari metode demonstration with outdoor activities dalam mata pelajaran Sosiologi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas X MAN Kota Blitar,2) Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dari penerapan metode demonstration with outdoor activities dalam mata pelajaran Sosiologi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas X MAN Kota Blitar.3) Untuk mengetahui hasil dari penerapan metode demonstration with outdoor activities dalam mata pelajaran Sosiologi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas X MAN Kota Blitar.

Untuk mencapai tujuan diatas, digunakan metode penelitian pendekatan kualitatatif PTK(Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Instrumen kunci adalah menawarkan solusi atas permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan cara di mulai dengan menelaah seluruh data yang tersedia dari berbagai sumber, yaitu dari wawancara,yang telah dituliskan dalam catatan lapangan,dokumentasi, dan nilai yang diperoleh siswa yang diambil setelah akhir siklus.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Penerapan Metode Demonstration With Outdoor Activities merupakan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan cara siswa mempraktekan dan siswa di ajak untuk mencari materi yang di pelajari,pembelajaran tersebut dilakukan di luar kelas, Sehingga dengan menggunakan metode ini minat belajar siswa yang semula merasa bosan dengan pembelajaran di dalam kelas yang kini menjadi di luar kelas menjadi menyenangkan dan minat belajar disini di ukur dengan menggunakan nilai post tes.. Dimana mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II dibandingkan dengan siklus I dimana di siklus I nilai rata-rata dari post tes siswa 58,8% dan 53,7% siswa yang berminat belajar,meningkat pada siklus II dimana nilai rata-rata dari post tes siswa 72,2580%,dan 67,5% siswa yang berminat belajar.

ENGLISH:

Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process in order that the learners are actively developing their potential to have the spiritual power of religion, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the necessary skills they need for society, nation and country.

The purposes of this study were to: 1) determine the plan of demonstration method with outdoor activities in Sociology subject to increase the students’ learning interest in class X MAN Blitar, 2) investigate the implementation of demonstration method with outdoor activities in Sociology subject to increase the students’ learning interest in class X MAN Blitar. 3) know the results of the implementation of demonstration method with outdoor activities in Sociology subject to increase the students’ learning interest in class X MAN Blitar.

To achieve those objectives, the researcher uses qualitative research design with Classroom Action Research approach. Key instrument is to offer solutions to the problems that occur in the field. While data collection techniques used are observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis was started from understanding the whole available data from various sources, interview, which had been written in the field notes, documentation, and the skore obtained by the students which were taken after the end of the cycle.

The results of the study showed that, Implementation of Demonstration method With Outdoor Activities constitudes a learning done by the students by practicing and were invited to find out the material they learned which was done outside the classroom. With this method, it was expected and proved that the students had fun in the learning process. The learning interest was measured by using the value of post test which increased in the second cycle compared to the first one. The average value of post-test in the first cycle were 58.8 % and 53.7% of students who were interested in learning, then in the second cycle, the average value of the post-test raised for 72.2580%, and 67.5% of students were interested in learning.
